Abstract: Research on phenology often needs to classification for studies the distribution and relations with environment. The system cluster consider only the integrated information of phenophase when to divide the type of phenophase, thus neglect often the part of the phenological information. In this article, phenophase type of the main phonological classified by cluster system, and the classification of phenophase merge by the main phonological. Thus overcome the defects of only focus on integrated information and ignore the differences between different phenological information when direct clustering by phenology, it was to ensure that pant is smallest classification unit at the same time. In this article made the cluster of phonological type by 4 of main phenophase with bourgeon period, leaf expansion period, flowering period and fruit ripenes period of observed data on phonology of 42 kind of plant 34 year in Minqin desert area, further the 23 of phenology classification merged by phonological type. The 23 of phenology classification basically obeys the ecotype characteristic of the plants, and the more scientific than the type of system cluster by plants sample. Moreover, the form of phonological type record by “ten day period + phonology” in the article. the form of phenology type record by “ten day period + phonology type — ten day period + phonology type — … ”, this is not only concrete, and direct-viewing, it is also advantageous for the application.
