Abstract: Abstract: 【OBJECTIVE】 To investigate knowledge,attitude and practice about nutrition and food safety among university stuents in Shangqiu vocational and technical college,and to provide bases for implementing nutrition and health education.【METHOD】 A questionnaire survey was conducted among 500 students drawn in Shangqiu vocational and technical college by cluster sampling.Their knowledge about nutrition and food safety,attitude and practice were investigated.【RESULTS】 Students lacked a better understanding of nutritional knowledge and the depth and breadth of understanding are not enough. However, they held a positive attitude towards nutrition, and desired to acquire more knowledge of nutrition and health.They have a correct understanding of the importance of the nutrition knowledge.About 98.04% students believe that nutrition knowledge is important in life and at the same time 76.95% students want to receive nutrition education.【CONCLUSION】It is suggested that nutrition education activities should be implemented to make the students know more nutritional knowledge and take healthy dietary practices.,to guide the formation of a reasonable dietary behavior, to improve their diet, to arrange meals reasonably and scientifically and to promote good health.
