Abstract: Powdery mildew is one of the most serious wheat diseases through the world. In this article, 16 wheat varieties (lines), breezed by our research group, were used to detect the correlation of wheat powdery mildew and some main wheat agronomic traits. The results showed that the correlation between wheat powdery mildew and the wheat plant height, base third stem length, third top leaf length were positive significantly(r=0.5356,r=0.5687,r=0.5157), and the correlation between wheat powdery mildew and the next top leaf was positive(r=0.7181). However, the correlation between the wheat powdery mildew and the sterile spike was negative significantly(r=-0.7132). The correlation between the wheat powdery mildew and the next top leaf wide, third to top leaf wide were no existed(r=-0.4340,r=-0.4803). Using molecular mark technology to locate the powdery mildew gene and aid wheat breeding is one of the most useful methods in protecting wheat powdery mildew disease.
