The Effect of Calcium on the Fruit Quality and Physiological and
Biochemical Characteristics of Peach in Greenhouse

Abstract: Abstract: “Chun-yuan” and “Chun-yan” were used as material for studying the effect of calcium on the fruit quality and physiological and biochemical characteristics. The results showed that: the Ca2+ concentration was rose up, the soluble sugar, soluble protein and Vc content were increased, and also, the POD activity was rose up, while the PPO activity was lowed down.
