Abstract: Abstract: Great achievements and some problems are found after ten years of practice of the establishment of green universities in our country. It is significant to take up further activities and to upgrade the level on the establishment of green universities. These activities are important in the implementation of the scientific concept of development, building of a harmonious campus, and promotion of personal all-round development. For the solution of the problems in the process of the development, we suggest that the following be put to practice: 1) more awareness on the establishment of green universities, 2) further study on systems including eco-technology system, 3) their application and popularization, 4) study on the improvement of evaluation system and put it into a leading role so as to upgrade the level on the establishment of green universities and to promote a long term activity. These measures will help the build-up of ecological civilization and will contribute to the sustainable development. Key words: green universities; deepen; upgrade; level of establishment
