  Effects of QFM Preparation on Hemodynamics and Endothelium-dependent Circulatory Control in Dogs liu huanqi 2009, 25 (12):  6-9.  Abstract + ( 1330 )   PDF ( 614959KB )   ( 893 ) Abstract：This experiment was to observe the influence of QFM preparation on hemodynamics and endothelium-dependent vasodilation in Dogs.QFM preparation was administrated at the doses of 0.1 ml/kg body weight intravenous in 10 dogs. The changes of homodynamic and levels of serum nitric oxide, plasma endothelin, PGF1α and thromboxane A2 were examined before and after the dogs being administrated with QFM preparation. The results showed that the values of SBP、DBP、MAP and HR hemodynamic parameters in dogs with QFM preparation anesthesia decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01); while in phase, the level of plasma endothelin（ET）and theomboxane A2（TXA2）decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01), while the level of serum nitric oxide（NO）and plasma 6-keto- prostacyclin F1α （6-Keto-PGF1α）improved significantly or extremely significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01)，and the ratio of NO/ET and 6-Keto-PGF1α/TXB2 also improved significantly or extremely significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The results of this study suggested that endothelium vaso-active factors NO, ET, PGI2, TXA2 might modulate the hemodynamic changes mediated by QFM preparation.

The results showed that the M gene of isolate was composed of 681 nucleotides, encoding polypeptide of 226 amino acid residues. Variations of the deduced amino acids of M gene mainly occurred at positions 2 to 17, deletion and insertion was not found in the N gene of IBVSX16 comparing with that of the IBV strains H120 and LX4. A phylogenetic tree based on amino acid sequences of M gene of the 19 IBV strains showed that these strains were classified into five distinct clusters. IBVSX16 strain was in cluster III. Most of the Chinese IBV strains were included in clusters III and IV，forming distinct phylogenetic groups in China.． Key words：infectious bronchitis virus；membrane gene； Genetic variation

  QTLs mapping on root traits of introgression lines at heading stage Wang Xiangdong,,, Gu Junfei,, La Honggui,, Song Qian,, Zhao Pengke,, Wang Huaqi, 2009, 25 (12):  14-19.  Abstract + ( 1745 )   PDF ( 598131KB )   ( 845 ) Abstract：[Objective] The objective of our study was to investigate the characters of root traits and the genetic mechanism of rice drought tolerance, explore the favorable genes of upland rice, and provides a theoretical basis and research materials in cultivating high-yield and drought-resistance species from the hybrid generations of upland and lowland rice. [Method]A set of 180 introgression lines (ILs) population between an accession of upland rice Haogelao, as donor, and lowland rice Shennong265, as the recipient, was developed using 187 SSR markers. The QTLs at heading stage for six root traits namely MRL (maximum root length), TRN (thick root number), TNR (total numbers of root), ART (average root thickness), RDW (root dry weight) and TPW (total plant mass weight) were mapped using single-marker regression analysis. [Result]A total of 38 putative QTLs for six root traits were detected using single marker analysis at heading stage. 6 QTLs associated with MRL were detected and the total contribution rate was 29%. A total of 6 QTLs affected to TRN were found at jointing stage and explained 27% phenotypic variance. 4 QTLs about TNR were detected and the total contribution rate was 21%. 6 QTLs which controlled the ART were detected and can explain 33% phenotypic variance. 4 QTLs related to RDW were identified in this study and the total contribution rate was 23%. 12 QTLs associated with TPW were detected and which could explain 61% of the phenotypic variance. 3 and 1 QTLs derived from Haogelao caused a decrease effect of TRN and TNR respectively. The additive effects of the characters were relatively large except ART. [Conclusion] 89.5% QTLs derived from upland rice Haogelao improved the six root traits of the ILs in genetic background of lowland rice Shennong265. QTLs about different root traits distributed most in clusters on chromosome. Four QTLs were detected near RM3853. So, we speculated that RM3853 must be a new gene cluster related to root traits and drought tolerance of rice at heading stage.

A yeast destination vector pRS-DEST42, express foreign genes in a low-copy number in yeast and high-copy in E. coli, was constructed. The entry cDNA library of A. tenuissima was transferred into vector pRS-DEST42 through Gateway system. The cDNA yeast expression library has a higher titer of 2.44×106(cfu/ml) and a total clones of 2.44×107. The rate of positive recombinants clones was 100% and the size of average insert cDNA was 1.38 kb. This provides a basis for isolate and study on functional genes in A. tenuissima.

  Cloning and Expressing BanLec Gene from Pulp in Escherichia coli Chen Shi,, Li Chunyu, Sun Qingming, Kuang Shizi, Yang Guoshun, Yi Ganjun 2009, 25 (12):  30-33.  Abstract + ( 1606 )   PDF ( 1169281KB )   ( 895 ) 【Objective】Plant lectin has important in vivo physiological functions, and it is necessary to expressing BanLec gene in Escherichia coli and investigate its functions. 【Method】Total RNA was extracted from Brazile banana pulp, and the BanLec cDNA sequence was amplified with Reverse Transcription Polymerse Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) and the sequence was analyzed. BanLec was cloned into pET-30a vector, and the recombinant plasmid pET-BanLec was screened. After transforming into Escherichia coli BL21(DE3), the protein was induced to express. 【Result】The Sequence was analyzed with DNAstar software and the result showed that its open reading frame was 426bp and encoded a protein with 142 amino acids. The alignment showed that this gene shared high similarities with other known BanLec genes on the levels of nucleotides and amino acids (94% and 93%, respectively). The result of SDS-PAGE demonstrated that the BanLec gene was expressed by induction and the expression products migrated at a size of 20kD. 【Conclusion】This research is helpful for investigating the activities or other physiological functions of banana lectins.

ACC Synthase is one of the rate-limiting enzymes of ethylene biosynthesis in plant. The ACC Synthase gene silencing can down-regulate the product of endogeny ethylene in plant. In this study, ACC Synthase gene was cloned with RT-PCR from peach, and then was digested and inserted into the pTRV-RNA2 vector, and transformed into the E. coli component DH5α. The recombination plasmid was selected and identified by restriction enzyme analysis. Sequence analysis showed that nucleotide of the ACC Synthase gene was 99% identical to the published sequence. The results showed that ACC Synthase gene was rightly cloned into the gene silencing vector pTRV-RNA2.

  Distrbution and Morphological Observation of Argentaffine Cells in Digestive Tract of Carduelis Spinus Lv Xiaohui, Li Shulan 2009, 25 (12):  38-41.  Abstract + ( 1419 )   PDF ( 2279786KB )   ( 797 ) Abstract Using the silver niterate method of grimelius to study the distributed density and morphology of cells in the digestive tract of carduelis spinus.The results are as follows: the argentaffine cells could be found throughout most of the digestive tract, the argentaffine cells distribute wavelike, we couldn’t find the argentaffine cells in esophagud and ingluvitis, there are two high peaks, they are stomach and ileum, duodenum distribute the density lowest. The argentaffine cells were seen between epithelial cells of mucosa layer and gastric gland, a few at the bottom of epithelial cells. The shape of argentaffine cells was diberse, there were ellipse, tapering, shuttle and so on. Tapering cells always had one long processus extending to the gut lumen, shuttle cells had two long processus,one extending to the gut lumen, the other extending to the lamina propria. This text still combined the characteristics that the argentaffine cells in digestive tract of carduelis spinus maybe related to different digestive function of different region to carry on a discussion .Thinking that argentaffine cells in digestive tract of carduelis spinus might have both exocrine and endocrine functions.

Method：DNA was extracted from the collected three Artemisia samples and their psbA-trnH regions were amplified by PCR，and then sequenced and analyzed to find the character-sites．Result：Although the psbA-trnH regions among the three species are high similar, there are several character-sites for themselves, which can be used in discriminating them. Conclusion：psbA-trnH region can provide the character-sites used to identify each of the three varieties unequivocally. It is the first time to use DNA technology in drug species’ discrimination of Artemisia, which provided a reliable and simple reference for the authentication of them．

  Comparison of Chemical Components and Sensory Quality of Oriental Tobacco in Different Producing Areas Li Zhiwei, Fu Yunpeng, Wang Zhitao, Guo Rui, Huang Ruoping, He Xiaohui 2009, 25 (12):  61-65.  Abstract + ( 1657 )   PDF ( 525802KB )   ( 782 ) The chemical compositions and sensory quality of aromatic tobacco in different producing areas were analyzed.The results showed that there were great difference in chemical compositions of aromatic tobacco in different producing areas. The contents of total nitrogen, chlorine, potassium, protein and total free amino acid were the highest in Hubei, the contents of total sugar, reducing sugar, starch and polyphenol were the highest in Yunnan and the content of nicotine was highest in Zhejiang. There were significant differences in smoking quality of aromatic tobacco in different producing areas. Generally, smoking quality of aromatic tobacco in Yunnan and Zhejiang were higher and Hubei’s lower. In terms of smoking total scores, the smoking total scores of A1 grade tobacco leaves was highest in yunnan, while, zhejiang got the highest scores in A2 grade tobacco leaves, and the smoking total scores of A3 tobacco leaves in yunnan was a little higher than in zhejiang and both of them were higher than in hubei obviously.

Our results showed that total phenolic concentration of insect damage leaves（10%-15%）in condition without river flooding was significantly higher than that of insect damage leaves（10%-15%） in condition with river flooding; condensed tannins of healthy leaves and insect damage leaves（<10%）in condition with river flooding were significantly higher than that of healthy leaves and insect damage leaves（<10%）in condition without river flooding; flavonoids of insect damage leaves（<10% & 10%-15%）in condition with river flooding were significantly higher than that of healthy leaves and insect damage leaves（<10%）in condition without river flooding; leaf nitrogen concentrations in condition with river flooding were higher than that in condition without river flooding. Insect damage increased phenolic compounds and nitrogen concentrations. Populus euphratica will allocate available resource based on insect damage degree and resource competition stress to respond environmental stress.

There were significant differences among the day that plant began to senescence（Ts）、the maximum reducing rate of leaf stay-green(Vmax)、the time of the maximun reducing rate(TVmax) in different maize genotypes. The reducing characteristics of the same genotype were also different under different environments. Dynamic changes of leaf stay-green were thoroughly indicated by the equation y=aeb-cx/(1+eb-cx).

The accumulation of salt caused by different fertilization may affect the soil ecosystem in Greenhouse. This paper investigated the salt contents of soil surface horizon in Greenhouse soil from six major areas in Yunnan Province. The results are: In the top layer of Yunnan greenhouse soil, the soil total N, P and K contents were 0.99-4.15 g•kg-1, 0.53-5.64 g•kg-1, 1.15-56.49 g•kg-1 respectively. The available N, P, K contents were 69.0-368.9 mg•kg-1, 6.95-214.9 mg•kg-1, 72.8-2654.4 mg•kg-1 respectively. With the increasing of the greenhouse ages, total N, total P, available N, available P and available K of soil appeared increased. Soil nutrient accumulated in the top layer, the contents of soil nutrient decreased gradually with the soil layer deepening．

  Allelopathic effects of different parts of alien invasive plant Lantana camara Quan Guoming,, Zhang Jia’en, Xu Huaqin, Mao Danjuan, Qin Zhong 2009, 25 (12):  102-106.  Abstract + ( 1583 )   PDF ( 700548KB )   ( 940 ) Lantana camara is a highly invasive alien plant of Verbenaceae family, and now is spreading rapidly throughout the south-central of China, especially in southern China. The allelopathic effects of aqueous extracts from different parts of Lantana camara were studied by laboratory bioassay in this paper. Results showed that the aqueous extracts from fruits, stems and leaves of Lantana camara had a considerable inhibitory effect on seed germination and seedling growth of Salvia splendens. The germination energy, germination rate, bud length and root length of Salvia splendens were all reduced, but the inhibition index of bud and root growth were increased in the meantime, and the allelopathic inhibitory effects generally increased with increasing concentrations. Bioassay of aqueous extracts from different parts of Lantana camara showed that inhibitory effects on germination energy increased respectively from stem, fruit to leaf, while the inhibitory effects on germination rate, bug length and root length changed respectively from fruit＞leaf ＞stem. This indicated that Lantana camara had strong allelopathic effects, and would be beneficial to enhance its capacity of interspecific competition and to promote invasion.

The results show that during the development of the oriental tobacco leaves, the activity of acid invertase(INV) was decreased; the changes of GS reached its peak in the 20dans in Samsun, but in the 30dans in Basma and Canik ;the activity of PAL was decreased in the 30dans; The content of total nitrogen was decreased with the mature leaves, but nicotine、total carbon and soluble total sugar were increased. Different varieties, carbon and nitrogen metabolism key enzyme activity and the content of metabolites were different.

At present, we should furtherly study physiological regulation mechanism of high-WUE crops and evaluation system of drought-resistancing and water-saving for cultivating high-WUE species.

The GS activity of grain of Yumai 49 and the leaves、grain of Yumai 50 showed: 80%FC>60%FC>40%.The highest grain yield in the 80%FC treatment and 40%FC had the lowest grain yield. There was a significant correlation between GS activity of flag leaves and grain and grain yield during the middle stage of grain filling.

The results showed that: During the late cultivation periods of roots of Glehnia littoralis, the content of starch had significant difference, and the content of reducing sugar, that of protein and that of fat had extremely significant difference .The yields had extremely significant difference, too. According to every index being comprehensively analyzed, the mid-October should be the most suitable harvest period. Through peeled off and hot water, the content of reducing sugar was significantly declined in roots, which was only 0.8286 g/100g. Compared to the content of reducing sugar and that of protein in roots harvested in the same period, the content of reducing sugar and that of protein in roots being peeled off dropped 91.714% and 12.58% respectively. When the roots of Glehnia littoralis were used in medicine, they shouldn’t be peeled.

The results showed that, the yields of the treatment of CRU100% were the highest. The yields of wheat were 8175 kg/hm2 and 8272 kg/hm2, for Xinpo Village and Institute of agricultural science of ZHUMADIAN respectively. It increased 12.0% and 11.6% compared with the 100% conventional urea test. As to the effect of the use efficiency of fertilizer-nitrogen, the composition above was also the best. Compared with the equivalent conventional urea, the use efficiency of fertilizer-nitrogen of controlled release urea was higher. The yields of corn were 8715 kg/hm2 and 8848 kg/hm2, for Xinpo Village and Institute of agricultural science of ZHUMADIAN respectively, which increased 8.3% and 8.4% compared with the 100% conventional urea test. The crop yield increased with the nitrogen application, as the application of control released fertilizer from 70% to 100%. And it was the same in conventional urea. As the N amount decreased by 1/3, the yields were not reduced.

The results showed that The endurance of different wheat cultivars to Mn lack was different, namely 9023＞Chuanmai28. Mn nutrition of wheat was not significantly improved by rotation or mixed cropping with oat in this experiment, and wheat shoot biomass was reduced. Moreover, shoot Mn uptake of wheat was markedly decreased by mixed cropping with oat compared with monocropping. But the growth and Mn nutrition of wheat were evidently improved by applying MnSO4 fertilizer which sprayed over the leaves.

Three facts of medium,6-BA and NAA were designed to study the effects on differentiation of rhizome.The results show that the best bud medium was KC and the best reap time is 110d after the pollination.The best propagation medium was W+NAA0.5mg/L+BA1.0mg/L, The best plantlet regeneration medium was MS+NAA 1.0 mg/L +6-BA 0.5 mg/L.

The results indicated that oriental melons contained more kinds of aromatic compounds as compared to thick-skinned melons. The main aromatic compounds in oriental melons were acetic esters, such as Ethyl acetate, Acetic acid 2-methylpropyl ester and Acetic acid hexyl ester etc; In the thick-skinned melons, the aromatic compounds of the cantaloupe mainly were 1-Octanol, 2-Octanol, Octanal and the other alcohols and aldehydes; In the netted melons and the thick-skinned melons of the thin-skin types mainly contained saturated and unsaturated nine carbon chain aliphatic aldehydes and alcohols, such as (Z,Z)-3,6-Nonadienal, (Z)-6-Nonenal and 1-Nonanol etc; In the thick-skinned melons of the smooth bark types Honeydew melon and Elizabeth mainly contained the esters of small molecule weight, such as Methyl acetate, Ethyl acetate and Acetic acid 2-methylpropyl ester, this was similar with the oriental melons, but the aldehydes in the Honeydew melon and Elizabeth were not found; The Cultivar Xinlimei No.2 , Yuanshou and Tianmi mainly contained saturated and 1-Nonanol etc. The nutritional quality of melon fruit of ten different cultivars indicated that the nutritional quality in the oriental melons were significantly difference; In the thick-skinned melons, the nutritional in the unsaturated nine carbon chain aliphatic aldehydes significantly lower than it in the thick-skinned melon.

The effect of studying on tree growth and fruit quality with long pruning showed that the leaf area increased about 15.5% and the net photosynthetic rate improved. The proportion of water sprout and developmental branch decreased, and the number of top quality branch increased. The contents of soluble sugar and soluble starch were higher than those with traditional "short pruning". Both the Soluble solid content and the titratable acid content increased. In addition, long pruning significantly improved the fruit exterior qualities.

The antifungal activity was determined by mycelium growth rate, sporulation per unit area and germination rate on slide. The mycelium morphology of M. fructicola was observed by microscope. The results showed that four kinds of solvent extracts of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch，Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi and Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi all can inhibit the growth of M. fructicola in content. Acetone and 80% ethanol extracts of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch inhibited the growth of M. fructicola most with the inhibition rate of 80%. Both the two kinds of extraction can destructd the mycelium morphology of M. fructicola distinctly, inhibit the conidial production and germination, and inhibit the growth of 16 plant pathogenic fungi tested.

F3 and Y4 had the best antagonistic effects with the antagonistis strip width of 13.83mm and 14.67mm separately. The antagonistic effects of F1 and F4 came second with the anatagonistis strip width of 11.83mm and 12.00mm. F3 and Y4 had teratogenicity to the mycelium morphology of Monilinia fructicola. And the culture filtrate of F3 and Y4 could inhibit the conidial formation and germination of M. fructicola. F1 、F3、F4 and Y4 were identified as Bacillus subtilis.

The results showed that the extracts of all the three plants in Artemisia showed strong antifungal activity against the tested pathongenic fungi, Especially the antifungual activity of the extract of Artemisia argyi was stronger and stabler. The rates of inhibition to the two pathongenic fungi, were over 80% in 48~96 hours after test. At the same concentration, the extract of the plants in Artemisia show little inhibition to F. oxysporum f.sp.vasinfectum. The extract from Artemisia argyi showed stronger antifungal activities than the 95% ethanolof extract .The EC50 of the former was 1.4785 mg/L and the EC50 of the later was 3.2090 mg/L .As far as antifungal activities was concerned, the antifungal activities of every method extract was similar by the same solvent, and the rates of inhibition to F. momiliforme were 84.34%, 84.56% and 88.7% after 72 hours, respectively.

Two or three clippings in growth season significantly decreased the above and below accumulated biomass of the whole year, but these two clipping treatment resulted in a considerable increase in the concentration and content of nitrogen in above biomass. One clipping in growth season, whether in June, July or August, was benefit to the accumulation of biomass and its nitrogen storage. Above accumulated biomass and nitrogen content was highest with one clipping in August among all of the clipping treatments. Below biomass and nitrogen content was significantly higher under one clipping in June compared to no clipping, but it was not significant different between one clipping in July or August and no clipping. Thus, several clippings in one growth season locked the accumulation of biomass and nitrogen of Kobresia setchwanensis alpine meadow. The most accumulated biomass and nitrogen content could be obtained with one clipping in August.

Sediment runoff into the lake exceeds that out of the lake which made it in silting situation. The distribution and variation tendency of certain physicochemical properties were analyzed and evaluated. TN, TP and heavy metal concentrations in the sediments were evaluated. Most heavy metals achieved secondary standard of sediment evaluation. The severe pollution of heavy metals was related to super standard of Cd concentration. The precaution and control measures for Hongzehu Lake sediment pollutions were set forth. Using data about Lake Hongze from related researches in recent 20 years, this study calculated its floating sand balance by its income and outcome, and investigated its sediment geochemical characteristics and status of heavy metal pollution. Long-term floating sand data analyses showed that its income exceeds its outcome which makes the lake sediment accumulation. The spatial distribution and temporal variation tendency of several geochemical valuables were investigated including TN, TP and heavy metals. Most heavy metal concentrations in sediment of the lake exceed the second rank standard in the heavy metal pollution classification, whereas Cd concentration exceeds the third one, which means severe heavy metals pollution. Some suggestions are presented for the precaution and control of sediment pollutions in the lake.

This article discussed the changes and spatial distribution characteristic of soil particle composition in the surficial soil of the karst rocky desertification area, including different type, different grade and different disturbed modes karst rocky desertification within the same small catchment, which belong to the Wangjiazhai peak-cluster depression basin, located in Qingzhen city, Guizhou province. The results showed that with the degree of karst rocky desertification, the soil tends to viscously and tightly, and the soil physical clay content (r＜0.01mm) is going up while sandy content (r＞0.01mm) is going down. There is no obvious difference on all soil particle-size between the moderate karst rocky desertification and strong karst rocky desertification, while there have significant difference between the strong karst rocky desertification and slightly karst rocky desertification (P≤0.05) except grit content. Slightly-moderate karst rocky desertification is the sensitive period of the changes of soil particle composition. The yellow soils have higher physical clay content and lower sandy content than that of black calcareous soil and showed the most significant difference (P≤0.01) except grit content. Furthermore, the small soil particles are easier to aggregation in the reclaimed and browsed rocky desertification than that of fired and lumbered rocky desertification. The rule in small particles aggregation is reclaimed > browsed > lumbered > fired. Soil organic matter also has the effect on soil particle composition and other structural performance.

The results showed that: (1) Contents of available N and available P in soil of intercropped marginal chili pepper line were lower than in soil of monoculture system. Contents of available N, P and K in soil of intercropped middle chili pepper lines were similar with in soil of monoculture system. (2) Contents of N and P in chili leaves of intercropped marginal chili pepper line were lower than in chili leaves of monoculture system. Contents of N and P in chili leaves of intercropped middle chili pepper lines were higher than in chili leaves of monoculture system. Contents of N and P in chili leaves increased from marginal chili pepper line to middle chili pepper lines. Contents of K in intercropped chili leaves were lower than in chili leaves of monoculture system during before harvest and higher than in chili leaves of monoculture system in harvest stage. (3) Contents of N in maize leaves in intercropping system were higher than in monoculture system. Contents of P and K in intercropping system were similar with in monoculture system before harvest and lower than in monoculture system in the harvest stage. The data of land use pattern in Yixing was extracted by the combined method of artificial interpretation and supervised classification, and changes of amount, proportion and structure of land use pattern were analyzed through GIS spatial analysis and mathematical statistics. The results showed that lowland fields, construction lands, water areas, and woodlands accounted for 32%, 27.31%,19.47% and15.45% of the total area, respectively, occupying the dominant position in the land utilization status in Yixing in 2007. Conclusively, the arable area sharply declined while construction lands and water areas increased significantly in recent 20 years’ land use condition in Yixing. However, the area of woodlands and garden plots changed slightly. The annual average decreasing amplitude of arable area is 1.76% while the construction lands had an annual average amplitude of 4.05%, which were both far beyond the national average level.

  Heavy Metal Distribution Feature in Terrace Soil on the Loess Gullied-Hilly Area Zhang Yubin,, Cao Ning, She Diao, Wu Faqi 2009, 25 (12):  252-256.  Abstract + ( 1528 )   PDF ( 691942KB )   ( 806 ) In southern Loess Plateau, approached the distributed status of heavy metals in terrace field in gullied-hilly area, discovered the soil contents of Cu come within critical value, and the soil content of other heavy metals such as Hg, As, Cr, Ni and Zn can reach the first soil quality standard. In the area, it was found that heavy metals’ content in soil did not fit general regularity. With the growth of planting time, the contents of heavy metals accumulated and reduced with increasing of gradient. The contents of Hg, Cu, Zn, Ni and As in top soil of orchard terrace were bigger than those of cornfield and sloping field, but the content of Cr of cornfield was bigger than that of sloping field and orchard terrace. The results showed the heavy metal was easily accumulated in level terrace, especially in the orchard terrace. Monitoring and cure of soil quality should be studied to instruct apple and grain industry development continually on the Loess Plateau.

  Genetic Variability of quantitative characters of Adsuki Bean Variety Source of Tangshan Liu Zhenxing, Gong Zhenping, Fan Yan, Yang Yu 2009, 25 (12):  257-259.  Abstract + ( 1433 )   PDF ( 431597KB )   ( 781 ) 71 landraces were selected for the analysis of genetic variability of quantitative characters of adzuki bean variety source of Tangshan, such as means , heritability , genotypic coeffcient of variation ( GCV) ,and genetic advance (ΔG’) , etc. The results showed that the adzuki bean variety source of Tangshan were poor in the maturity types. They had flourishing vegetative plant , good yield traits , and relatively big grain. The selection of these traits with higher genotypic coeffcient of variation ( GCV) and genetic advance (ΔG′) , such as branch number of main stem , pods perplant , grain weight per plant , yield per plant, days before flowering , 100-seed weight and grain per pod were available. The heritabilities of growing trait , branch number of main stem and 100-seed weight were high. The selection for these traits could be conducted in the early generations. The yield per plot with moderate heritibility could be selected in a little higher generation. The selection for plant height , pods per plant, grains per pod and grain weight per plant should be carried out in higher generation in which the genetic base tends to be pure and stabile.

  Studies on photosynthetic characteristics between six species cassava Chen Guanxi,, Li Kaimian, Ye Jianqiu, Xu Ruili 2009, 25 (12):  263-266.  Abstract + ( 1515 )   PDF ( 575529KB )   ( 738 ) Used GFS-3000 portable photosynthesis-fluorescence measurement system studied the net photosynthesis rate (Pn), transpiration rate (E), stomatal conductance (Gs) and intercellular CO2 concentration ( Ci) in the growth and development on six species cassava. The results showed that net photosynthesis rate （Pn）was increased in the earlier stage of growth period,and decreased in the late growth stage. The change of transpiration rate (E) and intercellular CO2 concentration was not affected by stomatal conductance (Gs) completely. The net photosynthesis rate (Pn) of South China 6（SC6） and South China 7（SC7） was higher than other cassava varieties significantly,and the Pn of South China 205（SC205） and South China 5（SC5） was higher than South China 9（SC9）.However, there was no obvious difference bewteen SC205 ,SC5 and South China 8（SC8）

For the solution of the problems in the process of the development, we suggest that the following be put to practice: 1) more awareness on the establishment of green universities, 2) further study on systems including eco-technology system, 3) their application and popularization, 4) study on the improvement of evaluation system and put it into a leading role so as to upgrade the level on the establishment of green universities and to promote a long term activity.   A Strong Tornado in the Outer-Region of the Super Typhoon “Sepat” in 2007 2009, 25 (12):  283-286.  Abstract + ( 1340 )   PDF ( 1560097KB )   ( 757 ) When the super strong typhoon Sepat came immediately close to the Fujian coastline on the night of August 18, 2007 (coded as 0709 in Chinese convention), a vigorous tornado was derived from the typhoon at 2307~2320 BST that appeared at the Longgang town, Cangnan county of the Wenzhou region about 300 km away in the forward direction of the typhoon, damaging heavily the life and properties of the inhabitants..Using the information of data of new generation weather radar、 local people’s memories and local disaster.It can be found that the event is in fact a case of strong tornado.

  Analysis of Effect and Problem of Grain Direct Subsidy Policy in Beijing Du Ling, He Hao, Chen Fu, Yang Liguo, Zheng Yu 2009, 25 (12):  295-299.  Abstract + ( 1394 )   PDF ( 761278KB )   ( 894 ) Beijing began the implementation of grain direct subsidy policy since 2004,which had the promoting effects on the city's agricultural production and farmers’ enthusiasm in plant.On the basis of field research,combined with the Beijing Municipal Statistical Year book and the relevant documents or data,this paper summarized the grain subsidy policy’s process of development and changes in Beijing;and analyzed the initial success during the implementation brought by the policy,on the one hand,it helped improve the net income of farmers,thereby enhancing the farmers’ enthusiasm in grain production,on the other hand,grain subsidy policy had an important impact on the city's grain planting area and grain yield.At the same time,it pointed out that the current policy still had some problems,such as standard instability,unspecific contents,and small-scale agricultural production limited the effect of policy implementation.To solve these problems,this paper proposed to insist on the implementation of reasonable,stable and specific grain subsidy policy, strengthen the supervision of management procedures,establish a reasonable standards of grain scale operation,and increase the subsidy intensity on scale production and so on.
