Abstract: Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge. belongs to the tree species of the progenitive difficulty in tissue culture,an effective means to the question,gradually is caused for concern.This article systematically summarized the key technology in research and the acquired results from the stem segment culture,somatic embryo culture and callus tissue culture in the process of Xanthoceras sorbifolia tissue culture,such as explant selection and treatment,the preparation of medium and hormone treatment as well as callus induction and subculture etc.,introduced the successful technical solutions reported currently,analyzed the effectiveness and practicality existing technical means,on the basis of this,clearly indicated the four key technical problems that existed in tissue culture of Xanthoceras sorbifolia,and proposed that should focus on strengthening the four questions and direction in the future research in the tissue culture of Xanthoceras sorbifolia.
