Abstract: In this paper, under the dry soil in tablelands, hills and gullies, that in Bothriochloa ischaemum were determined they were the photosynthesis rate, leaves water patential, chlorophyll containing, stomatal resistance, transpiration strength, cell membrance permeability and proline acidcontent accumulation. With the dry soil, the result showed that in Bothriochloa ischaemum leaves water patential, transpiration strength, photosynthesis rate and chlorophyll containing were lowered, the leaf”s stomatal resistance, cell membrance permeability and proline acidcontent accumulation were increased. By reliefing moisture stress and recovering water’s supplying during 48 hours, the various indexes that were researched can recover 50% of the normal water supplying. This showed Bothriochloa ischaemum has the strong ability of regulating itself, the adaptability and the patience to the dry soil.
