Abstract:

Abstract: The growing ecological conditions of Psammosilene tunicoides in part of northwest Yunnan and surrounding area were investigated. Results showed that Psammosilene tunicoides usually emerges open area to a certain extent of gravel or limestones brea at the altitude of 2400 m to 3400 m, where the soil is usually compaction and dry red soil or yellow-sand soil with poor manure. The soil, humidity and temperature are key factors for its distribution. The accumulation of ecological knowledge is helpful for its domestication and GAP.
