Abstract:

Abstract: Four hundred and two F2:3 families, developed from the cross between drought -sensitive variety Yan Zhan 2 and drought-resistance wheat variety Shi 4185, were evaluated for its starch content in the replicated experiments under irrigated and dry land two environments. Based on the analysis of the F2:3 family, the genetic behaviors of 9 quantitative traits including plant height, spike length, in-ternodal length below spike , flag leaf width and area ,fertilized spikelet per spike, numbers of spike per plant, number of spike grains and weight of spike grains . The results revealed that there were obvious segregations for all traits among F2:3 family, under the condition of irrigated and dry land. All traits showed normal distributions. This reflected that this F2:3 family was suitable for QTL mapping for all plant traits. However, there were variations in F2:3 family for almost all traits.
