  Molecular Basis of Pathogenesis of FMDV 5’Untranslated Region 2009, 25 (19):  1-5.  Abstract + ( 1458 )   PDF ( 537646KB )   ( 895 ) This paper expatiated the structure and function of the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus(FMDV) 5’Untranslated Region and summarized the recent advances in study of the pathogenesis and effects of the FMDV 5’Untranslated Region on its host cells．The molecular basis of pathogenesis of FMDV 5’Untranslated Region have been analyzed in this paper and considered that the genome structure of the FMDV 5’Untranslated Region are essential for replication and production of disease,which would provide a valuable theoretical reference for further studying on replication,virulence and its determinants,cell and host tropism and pathogenesis of FMDV.

The results showed that the hair follicle structure of alpacas was in the same manner compared with other animals, which was composed of hair bulb, connective tissue sheath, internal root sheath, external root sheath and hair shaft.; diameter of hair follicle during anagen was increased gradually, extreme was hair bulb, and hair papilla formed if hair bulb emboled. The alpaca’s hair fiber squamae arranged porous, and there were many hair follicles, which were severed two clusters by the connective tissue.

  Effect of Selenium-enriched Beer Yeast on the Growth Performance and the Antioxidant Capacity in Broiler 2009, 25 (19):  10-13.  Abstract + ( 1497 )   PDF ( 536124KB )   ( 695 ) A total of sixty broilers aged 1 day were randomly divided into five groups. The first group was control group fed with basal diet, the second, third and forth were the experimental groups fed with diets containing 0.2, 0.5, and 1.0 mg?kg-1 selenium by supplying the selenium-enriched beer yeast, the fifth group fed with diets containing beer yeast. The body weight, the whole-blood glutathione pereoxidase (GSH-Px) activity, plasma superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and total oxidation capacity (T-AOC) value were detected on days 14 and 28. The results showed that body weight of these groups was not different on days 14 and 21, but on days 28, there was a significant difference between the 2nd, 3rd group and the 1st group. The whole-blood GSH-Px activity, plasma SOD activity and T-AOC value in the experimental groups were significantly or more significantly higher than those of the 1st and 5th group. It is concluded that the selenium-enriched beer yeast, which could increase the activity of GSH-Px and SOD, T-AOC value, is a better source of Se for broiler.

  Sceening, identification of the antagonistic bacteria against Verticillium dahliae Kleb and characteristic analyses of antagonistic substance 2009, 25 (19):  14-19.  Abstract + ( 1439 )   PDF ( 722772KB )   ( 751 ) Cotton Verticillium wilt, which is caused by Verticillium dahliae kleb is a worldwide disastrous plant vascular disease. Bacteria strain 12-51 with a rather higher antagonistic activity was obtained after primary and secondary screening. The morphology characteristics, physiological and biochemical properties and 16S rDNA sequence of this strain were studied. The similarity of the 16S rDNA sequences between bacteria strain 12-51 and Bacillus velezensis were up to 99.74%. So, the strain 12-51 was finally identified as Bacillus velezensis. It was determined preliminarily that the extracts were proteins by analyzing the antifungal activity of the extracted substance through organic solvent extraction and salting-out method against Verticillium dahliae Kleb. The results showed that the component of 60% extracted substance had the biggest inhibition zone and the antifungal protein was not sensitive to the heat and pH value. The results laid the foundation for the biological control of Cotton Verticillium wilt.

  Intergratation,Classification and Facticity Analysis of QTLs for Root Morphological Traits in Rice 2009, 25 (19):  20-25.  Abstract + ( 1626 )   PDF ( 1024196KB )   ( 796 ) To improve the utility efficiency of molecular marker assistant selection for drought-resistance traits of rice roots, by using the saturated molecular marked genetic linkage map, we integrated published QTLs for drought-resistance traits of rice roots and analysed the contribution rate, characters of distribution and facticity. The results are as below: Eleven main effect QTLs were determined by the analysis of contribution rate; Eleven QTL regions on chromosome 1,2,3,5,11 were confermed to have pleiotrophic effect according to location of QTLs on each chromosome; Thirty five “real-QTLs” and three “hot-QTLs” are found through the facticity analysis of these QTLs. These main effect QTLs ，pleiotrophic QTLs and “hot-QTLs”can be treated as a significant candidate area for molecular breeding of drought-resistance traits of rice roots.

  Bioinformatic analysis of plant cell wall degrading enzymes in the genomes of four different fugi 2009, 25 (19):  26-31.  Abstract + ( 1677 )   PDF ( 701127KB )   ( 956 ) This paper presents a comprehensive study on identifying the number of genes encoding different classes of plant cell wall degrading enzymes in the genomes of pathogenic and nonpathogenic fungi. Plant pathogenic fungi secrete extracellular enzymes that are able to degrade the plant cell walls of their host plants. These plant cell wall degrading enzymes are so necessary for penetration of the cell wall barriers, as well as for generation of simple molecules that can be assimilated for growth. Initially, BLAST was exerted to compare pathogenic (M.grisea, F.graminearum) and non?pathogenic fungi (N.crassa, A.nidulans) and the top hits of them were acquired. Then SignalP were performed to verify whether these PCWDEs would be secreted by the fungi.Consequently, we conclude that some significant biological differences of PCWDEs can be discovered between pathogenic and nonpathogenic fungi.

  Comparison of 5 Different Extraction Methods for Citrus aurantium DNA 2009, 25 (19):  32-36.  Abstract + ( 1589 )   PDF ( 919311KB )   ( 762 ) Five methods namely improved CTAB method, CTAB-silica extraction method, SDS method, low pH extraction method with high salt and Zhou shiliang method were adopted to extract genome DNA from the leaves of Citrus aurantium. And three methods including ultraviolet spectrophotometer, agarose gel electrophoresis and SSR-PCR amplification were used to detect extracted sample DNA. The results indicate that SDS method is better than other 4 DNA extraction methods, DNA concentration is highest（Its average is 900 ng/ul）and DNA purity is best（Its average is 1.90）, and SSR-PCR amplification results with UV-spectrophotometer and gel electrophoresis test results are basically the same. So SDS method is the best DNA extraction method for Citrus aurantium, and DNA quality suitable for molecular detection experiment.

  The relation between compatibility and water-solubility sugar of tobacco 2009, 25 (19):  46-49.  Abstract + ( 1236 )   PDF ( 596062KB )   ( 650 ) In order to investigate the relations of the compatibility between different tobaccos to the water dissoluble sugar content in the same,13 kinds of middle leaves from Henan tobacco growing areas were tested in pairs and the compatibility of each pair was panel evaluated and scored so as to study the compatibility between the paired tobacco and its relation to their water dissoluble sugar contents. The results showed that the average between the water dissoluble sugar contents of the paired leaves affected not only their general compatibility but also the compatibilities between their chroma and their combustibility; and the difference affected their general compatibility. The compatibility of tobacco was better when the average is about 25.0～30.0%or difference was lower than 7%.

Yumai 2 is the most widely utilized corner stone parent in wheat breeding of Henan Province. The coancestry coefficient of Yumai 2 with its 75 derived cultivars were analyzed.The results showed that coancestry coefficient of the 75 wheat cultivars with Yumai 2 varied from 0.0500 to 0.6250.The total coancestry coefficient was 20.9401, which accounted for 27.87% in 75 wheat cultivars and 11.42% in 183 registered wheat cultivars of Henan province.Yumai 2 had very high value in use, and this would continue in coming years. The study of the breeding value of Yumai 2 was of great significance for utilizing wheat germplasm effectively, maintaining the genetic diversity of wheat lines, selecting the hybrid parents properly, and succeeding in breeding a good new genotype.

The improvement effect of yield and other agronomic characters was studied. It showed that in the hybrids crossed by the improved lines of Ji846 and 444, plant height and ear height were decrease, lodging resistance character was enhanced, ear-kernel weight was increased,. The yield of these crosses decreased commonly, only individual crosses increased; The improvement effect of some characters was different in these crosses, such as the first class branch number of tassel and kernel number per row.

The recoveries of these organophosphorus pesticides are between the range of 83.5%～112.3% , and the opposite and standard deviation are between the range of 0.99 %～3.73 %.The results of this test had met the requirement of national method of pesticide residue analysis. The method introduced here is simple, feasible and reliable.

Navel orange was taken as experiment material to investigate the changes of anti-oxidant activities during florescence and flower senescence. The results showed that MDA content accumulated and the activities of SOD, CAT, GPX first increased then decreased, but APX decreased during florescence and flower senescence. Therefore, one of important reasons for florescence and senescence of navel orange is the disorder of metabolism induced by the accumulation of active oxygen species.

Results show that the primary structure consisted of epidermis，cortex and central cylinder from the outer to inner；epidermic cells are arranged closely，and the horny layers of the epidermic are depth of 1-1.5 ?m about；There are many collenchymas in cortex which are thriving；Pith is developed and has an obvious belt. The secondary structure included periderm and secondary vascular tissue from the outer to inner，there are indistinct between spring wood and autumn，and the vessels are scattered in secondary xylem. The features of primary structure and secondary structure adapted to the xenomorphic.

  The Effect of Different Form Nitrogen Addition on Decomposition of Schima superba and Pinus massoniana Leaf Litter 2009, 25 (19):  76-81.  Abstract + ( 1362 )   PDF ( 621972KB )   ( 573 ) Abstract: The effect of different form nitrogen addition on decomposition of Schima superba and Pinus massoniana leaf litter from mid-subtropical zone were studied using a self-designed lysimeter. The results showed that: decomposition rates would all be obviously accelerated by NH4Cl and NaNO3 adding, and added more -N and -N liquor, S. superba leaves decompose more quickly. But compared with the effects of same quantity of distilled water, the accelerating effects of -N and -N could very significantly appear till added 300 ml liquor. To some extend the decomposition rates of P. massoniana needles also would be accelerated by adding NH4Cl and NaNO3, but compared with CK the effects of a certain quantities of distilled water were stronger than -N and -N, and in the three treatments olny when add 200 ml NaNO3 liquor could more obviously accelerated P. massoniana needles decomposition rates than distilled water. On the wholel the effects of addition N on P. massoniana needles decompose were not as stronger as on S. superba leaves.

  Genetic variation Analyse of drought-resistance traits with F2:3 family of wheat 2009, 25 (19):  82-86.  Abstract + ( 1578 )   PDF ( 666631KB )   ( 768 ) Abstract: Four hundred and two F2:3 families, developed from the cross between drought -sensitive variety Yan Zhan 2 and drought-resistance wheat variety Shi 4185, were evaluated for its starch content in the replicated experiments under irrigated and dry land two environments. Based on the analysis of the F2:3 family, the genetic behaviors of 9 quantitative traits including plant height, spike length, in-ternodal length below spike , flag leaf width and area ,fertilized spikelet per spike,numbers of spike per plant, number of spike grains and weight of spike grains . The results revealed that there were obvious segregations for all traits among F2:3 family, under the condition of irrigated and dry land. All traits showed normal distributions.This reflected that this F2:3 family was suitable for QTL mapping for all plant traits. However, there were variations in F2:3 family for almost all traits.

Effects under combined treatment of Manganese and EDTA-Fe on quality of Mengshan tea were studied using D- Saturating Optimum Design. The results showed that, when Manganese concentration of treating was 0.12g/kg and EDTA-Fe concentration was 0.03g/kg, the interactive effects of the tea polyphones and Caffeine were highest, and the average contents were 24.78% and 2.96%. when Manganese concentration of treating was0.12g/kg and EDTA-Fe concentration was 0.24g/kg , the interactive effects of the amino acid and the soluble sugar were highest and reached the theoretical maximum, and the average contents were 2.19% and 2.65%.

It turned out that allelopathy of Medicago sativa on Dactylis glomerata L was evident. Eurek and Baralfa obviously inhibited germination and seeding growth ,but promoted leaf dry weight. Sanditi and Sadie was not significant on seeding length of Dactylis glomerata L.,but it can inhibited seeding length.Moreover, The results also show that the allelopathic inhibition rate increased with intense concentration of the water extracts.

  Effect of Casuarina equisetifolia autotoxicity on endogerous hormones 2009, 25 (19):  100-103.  Abstract + ( 1617 )   PDF ( 646087KB )   ( 640 ) Effect of autotoxic substance of Casuarina seedling on endogerous hormones were studied using the method of nutritional culture and regarding root water extract of 15-year casuarina. The results indicated that the content of the growth promoting hormones in leaves and roots of casuarina IAA、GR、iPAs and ZRs decreased under autotoxic substances treatment and the content of decreasing was strengthened with the increasing of concentration of autotoxic substances. And the balance of endogenous hormones were broken and the content of ABA increased as well as ABA/IAA,ABA/GA,ABA/iPAs and ABA/ZRs. Under autotoxic substances treatment, the increment and biomass of roots, items and leaves of casuarina has close relation to the reducing of content of IAA,GR,iPAs and ZRs, increasing of content of ABA and the damage of the balance of endogenous hormones.

  Effect of Shading on Diurnal Variation of Photosynthetic Characteristics of Vihurnum opulus L. song 2009, 25 (19):  104-107.  Abstract + ( 1505 )   PDF ( 596298KB )   ( 604 ) In order to understand the tolerance to shade of Vihurnum opulus L, the diurnal variation of photosynthetic characteristics and its relationship to the environmental factors of Vihurnum opulus L. under different shading treatment were studied with the Licor-6400 portable photosynthetic system. The results showed as following: (1) The diurnal variation of net photosynthetic rate (Pn) of Vihurnum opulus L. showed double-peak curve under the 100% light and 60% light, and showed obviously midday depression, however, under 20% light, the diurnal variation of Pn showed single-peak curve. (2) The Vihurnum opulus L’s controlling factor of photosynthetic rate was non-stomatal limitation. (3) Under 100% light and 60% light, the first factor affecting Pn was stomatal conductance(Gs); Under 20% light, the first factor affecting Pn was Transpiration rate(Tr).(4) The proper shade had not strong effect on the photosynthesis of Vihurnum opulus L. To strengthen the shade, the photosynthesis rate decreased significantly. The photosynthetic characteristics’ ability of about three treatments were 100% light＞60% light＞20% light. Vihurnum opulus L could be planted in the shadow.

It could lead to reactive oxygen species (ROS) increasing in cotton plant, and enzymatic antioxidant system which could scavenge active oxygen, played an important role in adverse resistance physiology during cotton growth. In this paper, on the basis of a brief introduction of cotton enzymatic antioxidant system, the research progress on enzymatic antioxidant system response to different stresses, such as drought, salt injury, verticillium and so on, in recent years were reviewed. The problems and prospects on enzymatic antioxidant system response to stress in cotton were put forward.

  Discussion of Effect of Nitrogen Application on Biomass and Production of Y Liangyou 1 2009, 25 (19):  116-122.  Abstract + ( 1432 )   PDF ( 784587KB )   ( 689 ) 【OBJECTIVE】Effect of different N-fertilizer levels and different N-fertilizer ratio on actual yield and yield components of super hybrid rice was studied 【METHOD】Two field experiment about different N-fertilizer levels and different N-fertilizer ratio were designed through super rice Y liangyou No?1 was experiment material 【RESULTS】 It was significantly secondary correlated between yield, ear length, grain number per panicle and nitrogen application rate (p < 0.01) and linear correlated between panicle number per ha and nitrogen application rate (p<0.05). In the amount 180 kg?hm-2 of nitrogen application, the production was reached 11649 kg?hm-2 and 11624 kg?hm-2 for 60-40 of base-panicle N fertilization and 10-50-25-15 of base-tillering-panicle-granular N fertilization respectively..Rice biomass was increased with N-rate increasing in different period; The effect of biomass promoted by N-rate was especially obviously with the progress of rice growth; Rice biomass change trends were similarly at different stage in different N-rate under same base-panicle (80-20) N-ratio. Yield of super hybrid rice was generally higher when rice biomass increased great in late period. 【CONCLUSION】252 kg?hm-2 was the N fertilizer rate when the yoeld of Y liangyou No. was highest. In the amount 180 kg.hm-2 of nitrogen application, the production was reached 11649 kg.hm-2 and 11624 kg?hm-2 for 60-40 of base-panicle N fertilization and 10-50-25-15 of base-tillering-panicle-granular N fertilization respectively.

  Effects of Single Fertilizers Application on Yields and Environment of Spring Maize Production 2009, 25 (19):  123-128.  Abstract + ( 1392 )   PDF ( 935271KB )   ( 778 ) Field experiments were conducted in higher and lower fertility soil to evaluate effects on maize grain yield, soil residual NO3-N and N apparent losses of three nitrogen management strategies, conventional N splits by farmer, one shot dose fertilization by farmer and single basal application with polymer-coated urea (PCU) as partial N source. The results of two experiment sites showed that there was no significant difference on yields of different N management. Increase of 0-90cm soil residual NO3-N in Xinlicheng site of control, conventional fertilization, one shot does and single application with PCU treatments were -17.5，104.5，55.7，29.3kg N/hm2, and -44.3，-12.8，-57.2，-51.7 kg N/hm2 for higher fertility soil (Buhai site), respectively. The apparent N losses of whole stage were -83，-12，22 kg N/hm2 for lower fertility soil, and 172，119，157 kg N/hm2 for higher soil fertility soil. It indicated that less residual NO3-N increase with treatment of single application with PCU compared with other two strategies, and more apparent N losses resulted from rising of N rate.

  Amino acid organic Compound fertilizer effect on growth and development, output value and Qualities of tobacco. 2009, 25 (19):  129-133.  Abstract + ( 1279 )   PDF ( 532459KB )   ( 562 ) Amino acid organic compound fertilizer was applied on tobacco in Kunming, Wenshan, Puer, Linchang , The results indicated that amino acid organic compound fertilizer can enhance tobacco early growth and quick tiller, output value and yield of per mu, the mean price, the ratio of middle class and superior tobacco leaves, and the growth and development of tobacco was in advance. By applying amino acid organic compound fertilizer, the nitrogen and alkaloid content in the tobacco leaves increased, while the total and reducing sugar content decreased. there were more aroma quality and irritation with lessen offensive odor, with no significant differences in the others content of leaves.

Whereas, with many straw cover soil surfaces, there are many adverse influences, for example, it can baffle Mechanical seeding and improve crop development. Many research indicated that effective microorganisms improving those adverse ecological impacts at some extent. Our experiments also proved that effective microorganisms increased crop yields about 20%, result indicate that effective microorganisms can accelerate crop growth.

The results showed available N content of replant soil decreased after straw and corn stalk application, however, available P and available K contents increased in different degree. The numbers of bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi in replant soil increased after straw and corn stalk application. The ratio of bacteria and fungi increased, and that of actinomycetes decreased in straw treatment. The ratio of fungi decreased in corn stalk treatment, and the ratio decreased as the rise of applied amount of corn stalk . Except 99.5% replant soil＋0.5% corn stalk treatment ,the ratio of bacteria increased and that of actinomycetes decreased.

Genetic distance analysis represented genetic distances among 10 samples ranged from 0.2236 to 0.4777 with the biggest value between samples DaZhuS and Gay Chielftain and the lowest between JinPanLZ and Gay Chielftain. Dendrogram by UPGMA software disclosed that 3 groups were produced at the similarity coefficient of 0.62, with sample Benten-kagura and DianXue isolated and the rest clustered together.

In 24h and 48h of treatment, the antifeedant rate of the ethyl acetate extract against 3rd instar larvae of p.xylostella at 5.0mg/mL was 68.42% and 62.55%, respectively. The ethyl acetate extract was further separated through silica gel column and the fractions were monitored with analytical thin layer chromatography (TLC). Thirteen fractions were obtained and also tested for their antifeedant activity against p.xylostella larvae. The bioassay results showed that fraction 8 at 2.5mg/mL had higher antifeedant activity to 3rd instar larvae of p.xylostella than other fractions. The antifeedant rate of fraction 8 was 77.13% in 24h of treatment and 68.53% in 48h of treatment. The inhibiting activity of the 8 fraction against two digestive enzymes glutathion-s-transferase and alkaline phosphatase from the p.xylostella larvae was tested, but carboxylesterase and acid phosphatase were induced.

In this paper, concentration of 300mg/L Naphthol Green-B dyes was used to be treated by white rot fungi. At first, the strain of pc5305 was to be screened for the best decolorization white rot fungus which used to treat Naphthol Green-B from the four different strains. Secondly, we optimized the decolorization conditions of Naphthol Green-B with pc5305. The results showed that the optimal process for pc5305 to decolorize Naphthol Green-B dyes were those of initial pH 4.4,oscillating,using after four days static culture and the inoculation quantity greater than 2.0×107spores/L pc5305 to be inoculated. In this optimal decolorization conditions, the decolorization rate of pc5305 to 300mg/L Naphthol Green-B dyes can reach above 90% within 8h.

The results showed that the releasing amount of Cu and Pb increased with the increase of EDTA or tartaric acid concentration. EDTA promoted more Pb than Cu releasing from soil, while tartaric acid did the reverse. The associative action of EDTA and tartaric acid can notably increase the releasing amount of Cu from soil, the biggest releasing rate was 48%, and it almost released the same amount of Pb with EDTA in soil alone.

The results showed that the content of S, P, Br, Cl, Sc, Nd, La, Ga, Rb and Sn of topsoil increased, the content of Cu, Mn, Zn, Ni, Nb, Cr, Pb, V, Bi, Hf, As, Y, Ce, Th, Sr, Zr, Ti, Mg, Ca, Na and Fe of topsoil reduced first and increased later, and the content of W, Co, Cs, Tl, U and K of topsoil increased first and reduced later while the content of Ba and Si of topsoil reduced in reversion process of desertification. Obviously, with the reversion process of desertification, sand-binding vegetation recovered, soil structure improved and soil fertility increased, and the contents of topsoil mineral elements changed distinctly.

The study shows that the larger the number of grown years, the more the content of psoralen, imperatorin，isoimperatorin and the gross amount of the three. The coumarin content in the roots of Glehnia littoralis of four grown years is extremely significantly more than the other ones. Therefore, roots of Glehnia littoralis of two or more grown years should not be kept only for seeds in production, and also, they should be used as medicinal material.

By means of the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis, the compact structure of soybean straw is evidently destructed after the microwave pretreatment, and was beneficial to hydrolyze by cellulase. Condition of microwave pretreatment is optimized by orthogonal experimental. As result, the optimal conditions for the microwave pretreatment of soybean straw are shown as follows: microwave irradiation power 400W, irradiation time 40 min, irradiation temperature 60 ℃. In optimized condition of the microwave pretreatment and ultrasound-assisted enzymolysis, the enzymatic hydrolysis yield of the straw is 11.06% at 7 h, which was almost equal as the yield (11.77%) of the conventional enzymolysis at 48 h. The enzyme efficiency increased significantly.

  Relationship Between Distribution of Meiofauna and Environmental Factors in Southern Yellow Sea 2009, 25 (19):  323-329.  Abstract + ( 1382 )   PDF ( 797722KB )   ( 781 ) The abundance and biomass of meiofauna were quantitatively studied at a grid of 28 stations during the cruise of investigation in the Southern Yellow Sea, China in January 2004. The main results are as follows: A total of 20 groups of meiofauna in the Southern Yellow Sea were identified, they were Nematoda, Copepoda, Polychaeta, Kinorhyncha, Bivalvia, Ostracoda et al.. The mean abundance and biomass of meiofauna are (1186.12 ±486.07) ind/10cm2 and (1120.72 ±487.21) μg/10cm2, respectively. Free living marine nematodes are the most dominant group, accounting for 89.702% of the abundance of meiofauna, with benthic harpacticoid copepods in the second, accounting for 4.193%. In terms of horizontal distribution, stations near the coast have higher abundance and biomss of meiofauna. In terms of vertical distribution, 74.33% of total meibenthos is found in the surface sediment 0-2cm, 22.31% in 2-5cm and 3.36% in 5-8cm sediment. Correlation analyses between abundance and biomass of meiofauna and environmental factors show that Chl-a is the key factor that affects the distribution of meiofauna.
