Abstract: The influences of income on milk consumption of urban residents was studied based on the summarize of the characteristics of urban residents at present. The results were: income is the major factor that effects the milk consumption of urban residents, the higher the income was, the higher the consumption of urban residents. At the same time, the milk expenditure increased with the per capita disposable income. The milk consumption of income elasticity of demand is the highest among the husbandry foods.
