Abstract:

Abstract: MOB proteins constitute a highly conserved protein family. MOB proteins involve in cell cycle regulation and cell morphology, and may be related to the occurrence and development of tumor. In this study, chicken MOB gene full-length sequence was cloned by RT-PCR technology and sequencing. Genetic homology and protein function of chicken MOB gene were predicted using bioinformatics methods, and tissue expression pattern analysis were also analyzed using Semi-quantitative RT-PCR technology. The results show that genetic homology of MOB gene nucleic acid and amino acid sequence between chicken, human and mouse is more than 80%; Bioinformatics analysis indicates chicken MOB gene protein possesses a SAM(Sterile Alpha Motif)domain; Tissue expression pattern analysis reveals chicken MOB gene widely express in a variety of organizations, but high expresses in brain, intestines, spleen, lung, skeletal muscle and liver. Encoding SAM proteins widely involve in physiological and pathological processes, such as embryonic development, neural formation and leukemia. We hope the study about chicken MOB gene is helpful for human homologous gene further study, and can provide valuable references for mechanism of human oncogenesis.
