Abstract:

Abstract: The effects of 4 fertilizers namely animal feces, rape cake, organic manure and sulphate of potash magnesia at 12 dosages on disease, insect pests of rice, and weeds in the paddy field were tested with the controls of urea and no fertilizer. The control effects of 4 fertilizers at 12 dosages on Rhizoctonia solani, Chilo suppressalis, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis and planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera) were better than urea treatment. They had no influence on weeds in the paddy field. The yield-increasing effects of rape cake 2250 kg/hm2, 1500 kg/hm2, 750 kg/hm2, organic manure 900 kg/hm2 treatments in the early rice and animal feces 31500 kg/hm2, rape cake 2250 kg/hm2, 1500 kg/hm2, organic manure 900 kg/hm2, 600 kg/hm2 treatments in the late rice were remarkable. Sulphate of potash magnesia at 3 dosages had no yield increasing effects.
