Abstract: Five CMS lines and six restore lines that had been wide unitized or newly developed in south China were crossed according to the incomplete diallel crossed method and 30 hybrid crosses were obtained. The hybrid crosses and its parent (maintain line and restorer line) were planted in Guangzhou at late rice 2003. Compared and correlated with the yield Components factors between parent and its Series combination; The correlation was The yield Components factors of the hybrids and yield were analyzed with path analysis. The result show that the correlation was respectively significant, significant and very significant positive in panicles per plant, grains per panicle and 1000-grain weight between the maintain lines and its series combination. Panicles per plant of the maintain lines was significantly and positively related to yield per plant of its series combination. The correlation was significant positive in panicles per plant between the restore lines and its series combination. There were all significant and negative between seed-setting rate of the restore lines and 1000-grain weight of its series combination, between 1000-grain weight of the restore lines and panicles per plant of its series combination. It was contribution to hybrid breeding with high yield and little chalkiness quality by increased seed setting rate and grains per panicle based on proper panicles per plant and lower 1000-grain weight in combinations.
