  Report on efficacy of MEDPH’S Special Disinfectant to Cow-teat 2005, 21 (1):  1-1.  Abstract + ( 1515 )   PDF ( 1132110KB )   ( 612 ) College of Animal Science and Technology, Northwest Sci-Tech University of Agriculture and Forestry, Yang Ling Shaanxi 712100) Abstract: According to standards of appraising technology in domestic animal disinfectant，laboratory disinfectant ,field disinfectant test and contrast test of similar disinfectant were carried out for MEDPH. The results showed that 1:4 MEDPH disinfectant diluted solution (available iodine 0.01%) could be regarded as the minimum germicidal concentration to Escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus, and 1:2 diluted solution (available iodine 0.02%) to Streptococcus hemolyticus . The liquid disinfectant (available iodine 0.04%) with 15-second time killed 99.99% of the above-mentioned germs and killed 99.99% of germs in cow-teat. The germicidal index were both more than 104. The disinfectant was safety and not had bad effect to cow-teat. By contrast test; MEDPH disinfectant was equal to “Dipal ” and better than iodole.

  The Distribution of Oxytocin-immunoreactive Neurons in Hypothalamus of Youth Milk Goat CHEN Shu-lin ,ZHAO Hui-ying,QING Su-zhu,SUN Zhi-hong ,FAN Guang-li,LIN Lei ,ZHANG Yan 2005, 21 (1):  5-5.  Abstract + ( 2379 )   PDF ( 1074218KB )   ( 886 ) In order to supply shaping evidence of domestic animal nerves bear,the distribution of oxytocin on hypothalamus in 8~10 month old goat was determined by immunohistochemical SP method;The results demonstrated that oxytocin- immunoreactive(OT-IR)neurons were mainly distributed over nucleus paraventricularis and nucleus supra-optious; In addtion,OT-IR neurous was also found in nucleus perifornicals,nucleus ventromedialis, nucleus ventrolateralis, nucleus suprachiasmaticus, nucleus dorsmedialis, nucleus mamillaris and so on.The OT-IR cells were mainly spherical and ovoid , in addtion,some of them had projects.The positive cells which surrounded trabecula and located near the lumen were spindle-shaped. According to the all above describing, OT distribute on hypothalamus extensively.

  MHC of Dairy Cattle and Its Immunological Progress Gao Shuxin,,,Xu shangzhong,Li Jinquan,Ma Yun,Wang Guofu, 2005, 21 (1):  8-8.  Abstract + ( 1566 )   PDF ( 1097296KB )   ( 817 ) Major host-compatibility complex of dairy cattle was also called Bovine Leucocyte Antigen. It is concerned with repulsion response of transplantation and widely involved in adjusting and responsing of immunological response. Recent progress on MHC including its characteristics of chemical structure, function and of gene were summarized in this paper. The distinct immunological function of MHC and related issue concerned with its applicating on MAS of dairy cattle were especially introduced. At last, the future of MHC applied in animal disease-resistance breeding was discussed in this review.

  Progress on Mapping Economic Traits QTL in Dairy Cattle 2005, 21 (1):  11-11.  Abstract + ( 1331 )   PDF ( 1106836KB )   ( 631 ) The methods of biology statistics analysis and high density genetic marker map are three premises for QTL mapping, daughter design, granddaughter design and F2 design are three experiment design for QTL mapping in dairy cattle; progress on sampling and gene-type analysis were made, and a few QTL in dairy cattle were detected in recent years. Precise mapping the detected QTL is one of the emphasis in the future。

  Selection of Forages on the Ability of Milk Production of Buffaloes in West Anhui Ling Mingliang, Huang Renshu, Ding Tao, Liu Jianguo 2005, 21 (1):  15-15.  Abstract + ( 1589 )   PDF ( 1114059KB )   ( 596 ) 24 Buffaloes with similar milk yield and lactation period were randomly divided into three groups in the experiment on the diet. The effects of three kinds of forages on the ability of peak milk production period were discussed. The result indicated milk yield increased respectively 15.76%, 13.39% (P＜0.05＝, the rate of milk far increased respectly 6.32%, 6.73% (P＜0.01) ,and FCM has increased 21.27%、19.15% respectively by the groups feeding of Rumex K-1 comparison with the feeding of Medicago sativa(Eureka) and Lolium multiflorum(Hercules). The difference was not significant (P＞0.05) between feeding with and feeding Eureka with Hercules. Therefore, the planting of Rumex K-1 can adapt to West Anhui scattered feed Buffaloes with graze in miniature pen and feeding in hut.

  Comparison and Analysis of Components of Eggs between native hen and Caging commercial hen Huang Yankun, Chen Lidun, Guo Liangxing 2005, 21 (1):  18-18.  Abstract + ( 1462 )   PDF ( 952206KB )   ( 973 ) Physics characters and chemical components of eggs between randomly-rearing native hen and cage-rearing commercial hen were determined. The results shows that proportion of yolk, yolk colour, haugh unit, phosphor in eggshell and essential amino acid more 23.09%、54.1%、17.57%、88.89% and 11.34% than those of caging commercial hen, eggshell intensity of native hen egg is bigger; Content of a few trace elements are not difference. It indicated that nutrition value of native hen egg better than those of caging commercial hen's.

  Activation and artificial insemination using bursa copulatrix sperm of silkworm, Bombyx mori Chen Tianfei, Wu Dayang 2005, 21 (1):  20-20.  Abstract + ( 1598 )   PDF ( 1185766KB )   ( 724 ) Uses giemsa's dye and microscope observe bursa copulatrix sperm of silkworm directly, artificial insemination using the sperm, the studies shows: The seminal fluid is similar in the male moth seminal vesicle and in the female bursa copulatrix after mating 20 to 30 minute, and the seminal fluid is contains large number of eupyrene sperm bundles and not be activated. The result of microscope observation and artificial insemination using sperm treated with diffirent trypsin concentration shows that 0.2μg/ml trypsin in 50% semen solution, the fertilization rate is highest. The sperm treated with trypsin, plasmin, pepsin and succinic acid sodium respectively, only trypsin can dissociate the eupyrene sperm bundles and improve the motility of apyrene sperm synchronously , and olso only the trypsin-treated sperm have the ability of fertilization. The optimum concentration of sperm for artificial insemination is 2-fold diluted still be found in the research.

  Accuracy and Secure of Pregnancy Diagnosis in Goats by Ultrasonic Scanning Wu Heping， Zhou Zhanqin , Fu Mingzhe, Pan Rui ,Chen Xiaoqiang, Li Guang，Liu Xiuan 2005, 21 (1):  24-24.  Abstract + ( 1323 )   PDF ( 970620KB )   ( 630 ) Eighteen hundreds and twenty goats，which were transferred embryos，were diagnosed by ultrasonic scanning to define pregnant circumstances after 33~80d.The results showed that the accuracy of pregnancy diagnosis were 99.92%(1210/1211) and 99.39%(605/609) for pregnant goats and non-pregnant goats respectively. All of kids lambed by recipient, which were diagnosed repeatedly, were in good health and quick-growth. There was no any abnormal phenomenon in the kids. Thus it can be seen that the ultrasonic scanning is accurate, secure and easy to operate for early pregnancy diagnosis in goats and it can be used in practice widely.

  Hereditary Analysis of Insecticidal Transgenes in Transgenic Rice Plants Li Yongchun, Meng Fanrong, Xue Qingzhong 2005, 21 (1):  26-26.  Abstract + ( 1256 )   PDF ( 1018806KB )   ( 585 ) The hereditary characteristics of 8 T1 lines harboring two insecticidal genes were studied via PCR analysis and cross test, the results showed that the insecticidal genes transmitted as Mendel rule of 3:1 in 6 lines. In one line, the ratio of positive plants for insecticidal gene to negative ones was approximately 15:1, indicating that the insecticidal genes might be incorporated in the two unlinked loci in the genome. In another line, the ratio was significantly deviated from the ratio 3:1 (approximately 1:1) and the further study showed that the phenomena might be related to decreased competing ability of transgenic pollens.

  Study on The Biological effects of Low Energy N+ Ion Implantation on Seeds of Portulaca oleracea L Dai ximei, Huang Qunce, Huang yanwei 2005, 21 (1):  29-29.  Abstract + ( 1219 )   PDF ( 1066536KB )   ( 632 ) Biological effects of Portulaca oleracea L after ion beam implantation of low energy N+ were studied. The results show that the budding speed and budding rate increase by implanting treatment. It is most notable at the dosage 1.5×1017N+/cm2. The survival curve takes a “saddle pattern ”with the increase of the implanting dosages ,in which the survival rate treated is higher than the contrast . Low energy N+ ion implantation doesn′t cause the death rate much higher within the enperimental condition. Therefore , it is thought that low energy N+ ion implantation can improve the budding and survival rate of Portulaca oleracea L。

Cotton bollworm and pink bollworm are the main components of insect-resistant identification procedures in the regional cotton variety trial. Netted cage identification is a basic method；The insect densities for pink bollworm are 5 pairs of mature male and female insects and 2 pairs for cotton bollworm in average of per 10 squire meters within the netted space. The standard used for plant resistance to pink bollworm is the percentage of damaged seeds, and the criterion for resistance to cotton bollworm is settled as the percentages of damaged plant growth points, flower buds, open flowers, and cotton bolls. Based on these, the resistance of varieties under trial are graded as immunized (I), high resistance(HR),resistance(R),middle resistance(MR),insect sensitive(S) and highly insect sensitive(HS).

So far, several genes responsible for dwarfing traits have been cloned. The dwarfing genes showed a function to interfere with the action or biosynthesis of the gilbberellin(GA) plant hormones. Wheat Rht genes encode growth repressors and their functions could be normally suppressed by GA. Rice sd1 gene encodes a defective enzyme (GA20ox)with the key role in the GA-biosynthetic pathway. Similarly, the recessive mutation of rice sd1 can be restored to normal height by application of GA.

The recent progress in wheat genetic transformation technology, the main methods of wheat transformation, the factors influencing the transformation efficiency，the target genes widely used today, application of report gene, selective and marker genes，expression and regulation of exogenous gene are discussed in this paper. The remaining problems and countermeasures, potential in wheat breeding field, the task of the research on wheat transformation in the future are also pointed out.

  Construction of Leaf cDNA Library of Lycium barbarum and Isolation of LycB Gene Zhang Aixiang, Ji Jing, Wang Gang, Zhang Yanzhen, Liu Huiqing 2005, 21 (1):  46-46.  Abstract + ( 1571 )   PDF ( 1236314KB )   ( 698 ) Total RNA of leaf of Lycium Barbarum L. was isolated using guanidinium isothioccyanate and phenol-chloroform. mRNA was prepared by PolyATract mRNA Isolation Systems (Promega). Full-length cDNA was synthesized by Universal RiboClone cDNA Synthesis System(Promega) and then cloned into phage λExcell vector, After Pachage in Packagene Lambda DNA Packaging System, the capacities of the libraries were measured. The capacity of the library was 2.78×105pfu/ml. the recombination rates reached to 88.1%. Heterologous probe of LycB originate from Getina lutea were labeled with digoxingenin-11-dUTP (DIG), were further used to screen the cDNA libraries of leaf of lycium barbarm. Five lycB positive clones was obtained. The recombinants with the cDNA insert fragment were released from the positive clones and were digested with EcoRⅠ, The cDNA fragment were 2.1kb in LycB positive clones. This study will lay foundations for regulating carotenoid biosynthesis via genetic engineening.

Inducing callus from basal plate, the inducing regeneration plant from callus. In this paper, the variation in chromosome ploidy level of Welsh onion during tissue culture was studied by counting chromosome number. The results showed that the number of chromosome, which was from the cultured seedlings of meristem tip and the rank seedlings of meristem tip, was not altered, both the number were 2n=16,the hereditary stability of callus and regeneration plant was poor; and the variation percentage of chromosome in callus was 43.4%, among which haploid accounted for 6.7%, triploid accounted for 2.5%,tetraploid accounted for 10%,pentaploid accounted for 4.2%,hexaploid accounted for 3.3%,septuploid accounted for 4.2%,octoploid accounted for 3.3%,dysploid accounted for 9.2%;the chromosome variation percentage of differentiation seedlings derived from callus was11.7% ,among which haploid was 6.7%,triploid accounted for 1.7%,tetraploid was 3.3%.

It’s granular diameter is big and range is wide. Paste melting temperature is low and swelling power is easy for potato starch. Its keeping water power was strong, when starch granular paste was melting. Good maximum viscosity and transparency has an unique effect on processing flour, aquatic livestock, small cake, granular power, denatured starch. Starch molecule of potato has phosphoric acid-group, phosphorus content has big effect on character of potato starch, and phosphorus different content of potato starch has difference in its usage. Genetic improvement is effective means for gaining processed materials of phosphorus different content; culture technique and other management measure could regulate phosphorus content of processed materials variety. Big starch granular could perform character of potato starch perfectly, when different granular diameter was graded.

Tea-Polyphenols, catechins, amino acid and theine are the elements of tea quality that are widely accepted in the world. Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K) are indispensable to tea growth. There is closely connection between them and form and content of the elements of tea quality. Properly using nitrogen help to enhance tea quality，but scarcity or excessiveness of N is disadvantageous to it. Tea prefer NH4+—N to NO3-—N. Phosphorus can promote the contents of flavone，tea-Polyphenols， amino acid and theine. Potassium can promote the contents of tea-Polyphenols, amino acid and catechins. Different potassium types have different influence on tea quality. N，P and K must be used in proportion for improvement of tea quality. Only employ one of them is a great disadvantage to tea quality. We discuss the connections between N， P， K and tea quality in order to provide some advice for tea fertilization in this article.

  The Influence of Aroma and Taste of Cured-leaf on Changeless Temperature and Time in Stem-drying Stage of Flue-curing Ai Fuqing, Li Gaizheng, Qin Chenyin, He Chenglong, Liu Bangyi 2005, 21 (1):  66-66.  Abstract + ( 1509 )   PDF ( 1130558KB )   ( 702 ) With the best regression of two factors of temperature and time, the experiment studied the relationship between leaf quality and change-less temperature and time in the stem-dring stage of flue-cured tobacco. The result indicated that the content of petroleum ether extract, aroma and taste of cured-leaf presented a trend of parabola curve, which increased to a higher level in the range from 54.3 to 57.0 degrees of temperature and 12.5 to 15.5 hours of the time to the aroma and taste score and 54.3 to 56.3 degrees of temperature and 5 to 12.5 hours of the time to the content of petroleum ether extract. The study also showed that it had a good relationship between the content of petroleum ether extract and aroma and taste.

  Study on Detecting the Effect of Stabilized Phytase in vitro Digestion Su donghai, Liu ping, Sun junshe, Cui xianghong 2005, 21 (1):  70-70.  Abstract + ( 1627 )   PDF ( 1042832KB )   ( 780 ) The digestion of the stabilized phytase was detected in vitro, and the result showed that the quantity of amino acid, trace element, phosphorus in dialysis liquid of digested corn-soybean meal diet of 21 days broiler with stabilized phytase were higher13.6%、32.6%、12.0% than that with bare phytase, and were higher 30.6%、66.8%、26.4% than that with no phytase.

  Determination of Lutein in Plants by High Performance Liquid Chromatography Han lei , Song shuhui 2005, 21 (1):  73-73.  Abstract + ( 1522 )   PDF ( 1077517KB )   ( 675 ) In order to detect the lutein content in plants by HPLC，different pre-treatment methods were used to compare the effect of the extraction. The optimal method was took the freeze dried samples, extracted by acetone, detected by HPLC. The contents of lutein in different plants were determined by this method. The results showed that the highest content of the lutein is in collard, and then the leave of the sweet potato, amaranth and spinach.

  Cluster Analysis of Nitrogen and Phosphorus Utilization Efficiency in 133 Wheat Parent Materials Li Yan, , Dong Zhongdong, Cui Dangqun,Chen Lei,Xu Shuguo 2005, 21 (1):  76-76.  Abstract + ( 1708 )   PDF ( 999668KB )   ( 725 ) According to nitrogen and phosphorus contents in grain, leaf and stem of wheat parent materials, 133 wheat parent materials were divided into nitrogen high-efficient parents, low-ability parents in absorbing nitrogen and nitrogen low-efficient parents and team were also divided into phosphorus low-efficient parents, phosphorus-wasted parents and phosphorus high-efficient parents, cluster analysis was adopted in the paper. There were 7 wheat parent materials whose nitrogen and phosphorus utilization efficiency were higher. Variance analysis showed that their was more variable among classes than in class for organs. By F-test, difference of nitrogen contents in grain, leaf and stem were significant for parent classes that nitrogen utilization efficiency was different. And difference of phosphorus contents in grain and leaf were significant for parent classes that phosphorus utilization efficiency was different. But differences of phosphorus contents in stem were not significant for parent classes that phosphorus utilization efficiency was different.

  Study on Phosphor Fixation and Release of Newly Reclaimed Soils in West Area of Panzhihua Zhu Hualing，Wei Chaofu，Gao Ming 2005, 21 (1):  78-78.  Abstract + ( 1285 )   The results obtained by studying soil-P fixation and release in west reclaimed area of Panzhihua showed that total P and available P were low in all newly reclaimed soils and that available P increased after they were soaked in water for 4 days. According to soil P fixation characteristic, the studied soils were divided into two kinds. Red soil and newly cultivated heavy loam, the first kind, were resemble to target soils (vegetable growing soil and paddy soil), they had high P-fixation, low P-release rate; whereas bleached soil, waste land soil, sloping dry-land soil and newly cultivated sandy soil were the second kind, had low P-fixation, high P-release rate. In the three absorption models, Freundlich and Temkin equation were significantly correlated to P fixation data, and the Freundlich equation was the more , but the Langmuir equation only fit some data.

  Application of Discriminant Analysis in Distinguishing Flue-cured tobacco Quality Bi Shufeng, Zhu Xianling, Ma Chengze 2005, 21 (1):  79-79.  Abstract + ( 1545 )   PDF ( 943348KB )   ( 751 ) Discriminant analysis is an important method in multivariate statistic analysis to distinguish what type an individual should belong to. Based on the content of total sugar, reduced sugar, total nitrogen and alkaloid, the discriminant analysis was used in the recognition of different qualitative flue-cured tobacco. At last, the discriminant function was developed. The rate of accuracy, of returned classification using methods of mutual test, reached to 91.43%. The rate of accuracy, of returned classification using new samples, reached 100.00%. The results showed the method of discriminant analysis was useful and the discriminant function was valid.

  The High Photosynthetic Efficiency Characters of Super-high-yield Rice and Its Screening Xiang Xunchao,, Li Ping, ,He Libin, Li Jihang 2005, 21 (1):  81-81.  Abstract + ( 1593 )   PDF ( 1210550KB )   ( 777 ) The photosynthetic characters of super-high-yield rice(Oryza Sativa), its photoinhibition and genetic law of photosynthetic traits and screening of high photosynthetic efficiency materials etc. were reviewed in this paper. Especially, the locus of photoinhibition and its expression, its causes, possible manners and functions of thermal dissipation in photoinhibition were introduced in detail. Because xanthophyll cycle has very important functions in restraining photoinhibition and advancing thermal dissipation, the functions of xanthophyll cycle were summarized in the paper Finally, the outlook of high photosynthetic efficiency breeding in rice was discussed.

  Genotypic Differences in Some Characters of Different Phosphorus Efficiency Soybean under Phosphorus Deficiency Stress Zhang Yuling, Zhu Zhanlin, Li Zhigang, Zhong Peng 2005, 21 (1):  85-85.  Abstract + ( 1351 )   PDF ( 1056196KB )   ( 604 ) Four soybean genotypes with different phosphorus(P) efficiency were studied in main root length, root/shoot ratio, photosynthetic rate, chlorophyll content and the ability of resistance to senility in solution culture under P deficiency stress. Results showed that P deficiency stress stimulated root growth. Compairing with P-inefficent genotypes, main root length and root/shoot ratio of P-efficent genotypes increased significantly under P deficiency stress, and photosynthetic rate and ability of resistance membrane lipid peroxidation of P-efficent genotypes were higher than that of P-inefficent genotypes.

Mapping of quantitative trait loci (QTL) is based on Morgan linked inheritance principle. QTL mapping populations include the primary mapping population, the secondary mapping population and the advanced mapping population. Methods of QTL analysis include the single marker mapping, the interval mapping, the composite interval mapping and the mixed linear model. The precise of QTL mapping are affected by the population size, analysis method, QTL distribution and so on. Some disadvantages are found in traditional mapping populations and analysis methods, so new mapping populations and new methods are need in future QTL analysis.

  Progress in Physiological Mechanism of Nitrate Accumulation in Vegetable Zhao Jianping 2005, 21 (1):  93-93.  Abstract + ( 1383 )   PDF ( 1166791KB )   ( 1130 ) Vegetable is nitrophile and always accumulate NO3-. NO3- pollution in vegetables damages people’s health seriously, causing a great concern. Vegetable’s roots absorb NO3- mainly by the way of active absorption. Under retro-electrochemical gradient(170-250mv), NO3- is absorbed into the interior of root through symplast in a state of ion. NO3- is deoxidized into NO2- by nitrate reductase. The unharmonization of absorption, transportation and reduction of nitrate can bring about nitrate and nitrite accumulation excessively in vegetable. Nitrite accumulation can be affected by species and varieties of vegetables, fertilizer types and loading levels, and vegetable growth environments factors(light, temperature, water and CO2 ).

Oleifera was observed with LM．Results showed that there were vegetative cell and generative cell in the pollen grain of Genus Camellia, the generative cell is more smaller than that of the vegetative cell．The generative cell was lay on the vegetative cell as an elongate spindle, and only the generative cell membrane and nuclear membrane which near the cell polar linked up the vegetative cell membrane, one of the linked area was located near by the aperture of pollen grain. The nuclei of generative cells showed five types of morphological characters: more elongate club, elongate club, short club, approximate wedge-shaped and wedge-shaped. The length of generative cell nuclei is 3.5~20.0μm．study method on morphology of generative cells in pollen grains，and the evolutionistic tendency of Genus Camellia base on the morphological character and size of generative cell nuclei was also discussed in this paper．

It was contribution to hybrid breeding with high yield and little chalkiness quality by increased seed setting rate and grains per panicle based on proper panicles per plant and lower 1000-grain weight in combinations.

The results indicate: root growth, shoot growth and the ratio of root/shoot (R/S) get changed, and the growth period becomes longer when water supply is decreased although the general accumulative trend of root and shoot, plant height, stem diameter of summer maize is not affected by drought. The responses of root and shoot to the same water condition are not identical. With the strength of stress, the time of the maximum of root and shoot dry weight, plant height, stem diameter become later compared with the full-water treatment. R/S is changed under the different soil content. Water treatment had the lowest effect on R/S during the flowering stage to the filling stage and the maximal effect on R/S during the jointing stage to the heading stage. R/S of treatment H was 125.77% times as much as treatment L at this period. Under the full-watered treatment, the ratio of R/S is the largest(R/S=0.173),which may be caused by the building of extensive root system. These results suggested that harmonizing the balance of root-shoot under drought stress, playing the role of root and leaf at most could enhance yield.

The distributions of all characters were not in accord with normal distribution, thus they were quantitative characters controlled by many genes with small and large effects. The result showed, the growth, physiological activity, yield and quality of celery were improved by chicken excrement and pig dung significantly. On the increasing of yield, the chicken excrement > oil cake > pig dung. Vitamin C and soluble sugar of celery were increased by the three kinds of organic manure, its followed: chicken excrement>pig dung>oil cake. The nitrate content of celery were reduced significantly by the organic manure, its rang reached 7.1%~53.1%. The effect on nitrate content followed this order: chicken excrement>pig dung>oil cake. The nitrate content of celery increased followed the fertilized level of oil cake and chicken excrement, but the pig dung followed the contrary rule. Under these levels of the organic manure, the heavy metal elements of Pb, Cd, Cu, Zn in leaf and petiole of celery were significantly lowered the national standard. But the heavy metal elements of Cu, Zn in leaf were increased significantly with the increase of application of pig dung. These results suggested that the heavy metal elements of Cu, Zn would contaminate celery under the condition that application of abundant pig dung for long time.

At 150 mmol/L, relative germination percentage among M4x、M3x、M2x was 77.8%、63.4%、30.6%, respectively. their relative germination percentage was 37.8%、31.7%、0 at 180 mmol/L, respectively. At 210 mmol/L , several seeds of M4x was germinated. The seeds salt-resistance qualities of different ploidy watermelon were: M4x＞M3x＞M2x.

The leading rootstock is trifoliate orange. It is incompatible with the scions during the late period, and it has not the resistances of deep and harden soil, saility soil and the dramatical and huge change in the air temperature, and it is infected with exocortis, dam ping-off, bacterial wilt and fire blight easily. So it needs improving or alternating urgently. Some good germplasms for rootstocks for citrus have been picked out and introdcted into. Some somatic hybrids used as rootstocks have been selected through somatoplasm fusion. Some methods in early identification on stability of inherence and copatiblity and dwarf are explored, and they need improving. Rootstocks having some virtues have been selected, but they cannot take the leading place of trifoliate orange. The research method that the rootstocks are only compared with each other should be altered into that the rootstocks and given control measures or environmental conductions are connected to make the rootstocks compared with each other. The focus and the subjects of the study in the future in China are still studies on the investigation, introduction, selection, breeding and utilization of germplasm for rootstocks for citrus.

The result showed that with the improvement of FCH, tomato growth and yield had nothing to do with oxygen enrichment in nutrient solution or not. But the nutrient quality of tomato fruit had been affected a little. The oxygen enrichment did not change the content of solubility solid in fruit, but could reduce the content of nitrate nitrogen and the ratio of sugar/ acid.

The trees can bloom many times during the sprouts growing seasons. The principal harvest time can be adjusted from autumn to winter by summer pruning. The trees began to bear in the 2nd year after planted, and the yield reached 15246kg/hm2 in the 5th year. Piece has the characteristics of good fruit quality with the single fruit weight of 269g, a soluble solids content of 25.3%, an edible rate of 81%, a sugar content of 21.9%, an acid content of 0.3%, a vitamin C of 42.4mg/100g. The trees are high cold resistant at fruit development period in winter.

  Study on Reisstance to Disease and Insect Pests of Lowland and Upland Rice Varieties in Hebei Province Zhang Qixing, Zuo Yongmei 2005, 21 (1):  257-257.  Abstract + ( 1553 )   The distribution of lowland and upland rice varieties in Hebei Province resistance to blast (Pyricularia oryzae),bacterial leaf blight (Xanthomonas oryzae), brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens), and white-backed planthopper (Sogatella furcifera) was analysed on the basis of the identification results, and the detailed study on resistance to blast and bacterial leaf blight was conducted in lowland and upland rice, maturity, rice growing region etc. The result showed that the frequency of resistant varieties to blast and bacterial leaf blight was high ,45.86% and 50.34% respectively, the high resistant rate was only 0.75% and 2.05%,and the resistant rate was 24.80% and 15.75% respectively. The frequency of resistant varieties to brown and white-backed planthopper was low, 4.50% and 3.34% respectively,2 varieties showed high resistance to brown planthopper , no varieties showed resistance and high resistance to white-backed planthopper. The frequency and strength of resistance to bacterial leaf blight in upland rice were higher than that in lowland rice .The resistant strength to blast was low in Zhangjiakou and Chengde city where the latitude and levation were high with cold climate, high in Tangshan and Qinhuangdao city, the highest in Southern Hebei odd growing sub-region, The distribution of germplasm resistance to bacterial leaf blight showed decrease succesively with the increase of latitude and decrease of tempreture.

It was indicated that 4933 lines were resistant to leaf blast and 7103 lines were sensitive to leaf blast, accounting to 40.60% and 58.46%, respectively. To neck blast, there were 4071 resistant lines and 7965 sensitive lines, accounting for 33.50% and 65.55%, respectively. The leaf blast performance of 9034 lines was consistent with their neck blast performance. Lines resistant to both leaf blast and neck blast were half of lines sensitive to both leaf blast and neck blast. The leaf blast performance of 3002 lines was inconsistent with their neck blast performance. Lines that were sensitive to leaf blast and resistant to neck blast were more than those resistant to leaf blast and sensitive to neck blast. The elite indica restors such as 6326, Shuhui162 and Shuhui527 were bred with the resistant blast resources. Some topics on resistant rice blast breeding and making use of resistant cultivars logically were also discussed.

The results show that agronomic characteristic, the content of the starch, wet gluten and protein are much lower than those no-damage wheat in the three stages of wheat according to the difference of concentrations of artificial honey-dew. In the booting stage, the maximal lost rate of agronomic characteristic, the content of starch, wet gluten and protein is 30.75%, 9.16%, 13.32% and 34.36%, respectively; In earring period, which is 41.79%, 8.26%, 14.83% and 39.26%. In milking stage, which is 47.21%, 9.26%, 24.01% and 44.63%. And the effects on agronomic characters and content of protein were most serious, on the content of wet gluten was less, while the content of starch was hardly affected. The effects of aphid harmfulness on yield and main nutritive qualities were different in the three different wheat stages.

On economical injuring level the economic threshold was determined as the diseased rate reaching 1.0% last stubble and 0.15 viruliferous SBPH vector /0.11m2 in seeding stage and 4000viruliferous SBPH vector /667m2 (20 viruliferous SBPH vector/100 clusters) in early tillering stage on hybrid rice.

Based on the fact that it lacks of quantification about the theory at present, this paper puts forward the new idea about mechanism of system coupling using emergy method in the ecotone between agriculture and pasture in North China as an example, where has serious dilemma of economical and ecological. The emergy concept recognizes that different types of energies have different abilities to do work. Emergy method provides quantitative way for complex system analysis. This paper also makes proposal that the mechanism of system coupling should be based on different land use manner and procedure of emergy transformation among different subsystem, also and emergy reserving through ecosystem service. At the same time it holds that can effect the mechanism mainly includes the primary productivity, inner constitution and the scale of animal husbandry and the value of ecosystem services. This paper also tries to develop the formula of system coupling under inner circle of ecosystem.

Meanwhile, the organic content is higher than the two reference lands obviously, the soil organic content has the increased trend with the increase of the age of the forest in each forest area.

The winter-wheat colony is get reasonable at first in the growing, afterwards, ear quantity and grain per ear is assured by means of effective measures, which is the basis of winter-wheat high-yield.

The relationship between canopy reflectance and LAI are analyzed with single variant and multivariant regression. It found that reflectance in green waveband red waveband and near infrared waveband have an direct relation to corn LAI while reflectance in other wavelength have an loose relation to corn LAI growing in different stages. By our study, It found that NDVI and RVI constructed by hyperspectral remote sensing reflectance can greatly improve remote sensing ability for estimation corn LAI. By comparison, it can be drawn that multivariant regression is the best method for estimating corn LAI with remote sensing model.

But because of the historical reason, Cultivated area wandered up and down in 137,000~245,500 hectares from 1955 to 1983, The yield per hectare was 2535~4482 kilograms, belong to a low yield rice area in our country, with little cultivated area, not high and changing a bigger yield per unit area. For this reason, “the comprehensive technical research and demonstration of high yield on large area” was carried out in 1995.
