Effects of Plant Nutrient Solution Spray on Quality of Longan Fruit

Abstract: Six different nutrient solutions were sprayed on leaf and fruits 3 times during the developmental stage of aril (June-July) in order to improve longan fruit's quality. The results showed that Treatmemts can improve the fruit quality in some extent. The diameter of fruit, weight of single fruit, edible portion, soluble solids content and total soluble sugar content was higher respectively compare with the control (water). The ascorbic acid content was increased in most treatments. The effects of treatment 1 and treatment 4 on fruit external quality were significant different, and Treatment 3 was significant different on fruit internal quality compare with control.
