Abstract: Abstract: 【OBJECTIVE】To provide a scientific basis for the fertilization for the production of leafy vegetables, the vegetables soil nutrient situation and the production of leafy vegetables in the suburbs of Qingyuan were investigated. 【METHOD】From October to November 2008, seven soil samples of regional centers to the outskirts were collected with points uniform random sampling method, and the main soil nutrients and pH were determined in accordance with the National Soil nutrients Determination of the standard method. At the same time, Chinese cabbage, lettuce and Lactuca sativa L were potted plant and fertilized at 1/4 the amount of the local vegetable fertilizer. 【RESULTS】The results showed that the overall fertility of the soil close to the level of southern China, a low-fertility vegetable, the vegetable soil of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and organic matter content and leaf production of large differences in the level of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ratio were obviously imbalance. 【CONCLUSION】How reasonable fertilization for vegetable production in Qingyuan has certain significance.
