Abstract:

According to the eco-economic value of Caragana spp. and special geographical environment in west regions, the major insect pests and control strategies of Caragana spp. in west regions of China are briefly discussed， and the integrated management strategies should focus on the monitoring and early warning, and pollution-free control techniques, and based on the integrated management of insect pests. Change forest management models and breeding pest-resistant and drought-resistant species, select and apply high-effectively and low-toxic harmonious pesticides, develop biological technologies, and protect and apply native natural enemies, develop practical technologies of sex attractant and botanical attractant and so on. Finally, found the integrated management technologies system to control effectively the insect pests of Caragana spp..
