Abstract: The influence of different mercury ion concentrations on the growth of water cultured Under Leaf Pearl was investigated. Results showed that mercury has significant influence on the growth of Under Leaf Pearl and its material accumulation. With the increase of the concentration of mercury, the content of Chlorophyll and Proline in the plant increases and the plant dies or inclines to die with a concentration of 40mg/L of mercury.
