Abstract:

Abstract: By measuring water consumption, weight changes of shoot and root, yield, component ingredients in different phase of growth and development of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi through pot planting and weighting. The water supply experiment was done at 3 different soil water gradients of 30%,50%,80%,respectively.The results indicitaed that the water consumption was largest at vegetative stage before flowering stage of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. The water gradients of 30% and80% could produce unfavorable effects on the growth and development of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. The yield of root and the contents of effective component of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi was higher relatively than others, which had significant difference at soil water gradients of 50%. the contents of effective component of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi was 13.6%。
