Abstract:

Four kinds of forages(Trifolium repens , Medicago sativa, Lolium perenne, Paspalum notatum)intercropped with mountainous peach orchard were studied in south of Zhejiang province, compared with moderate keeping natural grass and clean tillage. The result indicated that four forages verities have obvious effect on environment, soil fertility, and economic benefits of orchard. Among four forages, the T.repens grow better and faster, the yield is 39000kg/hm2, which has best effect on thermoregulation, water and soil conservation, soil fertility improvement and economic benefits of peach orchard and suit for application in orchard of south of Zhejiang province.
