Abstract:

Abstract To optimize the extraction process of volatile oil from leaves of pinus elliottii Engelm, and the constituents analysis of volatile Oil. The volatile oil from leaves of pinus elliottii Engelm was extracted by steam distillation and the effect of the ratio of liquid to solid, and extracting time and soaking time on the extraction yield of volatile oil from leaves of pinus elliottii Engelm were studied through orthogonal test, and the constituents of volatile oil were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS). The optimum technology for extracting the volatile oil from leaves of pinus elliottii Engelm was as follows:the ratio of liquid to solid of 9:1,extraction time of 2h,and soaking time of 6h. one hundred and thirteen components in the volatile oil from leaf of Pinus elliottii Engelm were separated and thirty eight of them (88.83%)were identified. The main compounds were monoterpinenes, sesquiterpenes and some alcohol, esters. This study provides scientific proof for the further exploitation and utilization about leaf of pinus elliottii Engelm.
