Abstract:

Abstract:In order to understand the effect of Perma zyme on soil shear strength, a type of Perma zyme stabilized soil-root composite was proposed, which can be defined as mixing the roots of ryegrass into the soil which contains Perma zyme. The shear strength of the composite was investigated in terms of various Perma zyme and roots content of composite. Seeds of ryegrass were cultivated in soil with different Perma zyme content. Results proved that seeds of ryegrass can survive and grow well. It was found that the shear strength of PSSRC increased with the increase in Perma zyme content. The value of φ first increased but then decreased with the increase in Perma zyme content.
