Abstract: The biogas prodction effects of different inoculum concentration using batch fermentation process was studied on with vinegar residue as raw material at strictly controlled temperature (38±1℃). The result showed that TS gas production potential of vinegar residue and sludge mass ratio of 2:1,1:1and 1:2(dry matter than 3.05, 1.52 and 0.76) were 295.56,344.02,446.95 ml/g，VS gas production potential were 295.56、344.02、446.95ml/g，intensify inoculum concentration was to avoid acidification,quick Start anaerobic fermentation，speed up the emergence of the peak gas production, cut short fermentation period,improve the raw gas production rate，and etc..
