Abstract:
Ribosome-inactivating proteins (RIPs) are toxins that can inhibit protein synthesis in eukaryotic cells by damaging the ribosome. They possessed various biological activities, such as anti tumor, antivirus and so on. Therefore, wide concern was aroused in recent years. This paper summarized the type, biological activities and the mechanism of eukaryote resistant and sensitive to ribosome-inactivating proteins.
