Abstract: In order to study the effects of different proportions of organic and inorganic nitrogen on growth, disease resistance and aroma and taste of flue-cured tobacco under the same nitrogen application rate. Field experiment combined with laboratory analysis was employed in this study. The results show: (1) Combined with organic manure application enhanced the growth and development, disease resistance of flue-cured tobacco significantly, presenting as stronger growth vigor, more fully developed leaves, and low incidence than those of CK. (2) Employed organic manure improved the hierarchical structure of tobacco leaves, the proportion of finest and medium tobacco leaves, and acquired higher yield and output value per unit area. (3) It also improved the aroma and taste of tobacco leaves. (4) Combined with 20% organic nitrogen obtained the best comprehensive effect in mountainous area. To sum up, combined with 20% organic nitrogen obtained the best comprehensive effect in mountainous area when the nitrogen amount is 7.5 kg per 667 m2.
