Abstract: Glomalin is an abundant soil glycoprotein, the soil total glomalin of different history rubber fields in hainan was extracted by 90 min of autoclaving (121 1C) 0.25 g soil in 2ml of 50mM sodium citrate adjusted to pH 8.0, and Bradford protein analysis was used for glomalin-related soil protein. The result showed that the concentrations of glomalin-related soil protein of rubber field soil in hainan baisha are relatively low, the effect of 8-years history of rubber planting on glomalin-related soil protein is not significant. The difference of glomalin-related soil protein concentrations of secondly rubber field layers is lower compare to that of glomalin-related soil protein concentrations of firstly rubber field layers. The trend of glomalin-related soil protein change is differ from soil organic carbon in rubber fields.
