Abstract:

This paper reviewed the literature about Chinese agricultural product circulation system, and pointed out that the urban-rural dual structure causes the Chinese agricultural product circulation system transformation has a long way to go. Revealing the deep-seated motivation of transformation is still an important research topic. This paper analyzed the unique attributes of agricultural product on production, circulation and consumption, and found that the system meaning and the potential profits of these unique attributes are the fundamental motivations of Chinese agricultural product circulation system transformation. Based on the findings, we proposed the following suggestions about the further development of Chinese agricultural product circulation system. Firstly, agricultural products should be classified according to the biological characteristics and circulation characteristics, and different categories of agricultural products have different key issues. Secondly, according to vast size, complex natural conditions, and the uneven regional development of China, different regions should set different reform goals.
