Abstract:
Abstract: Isolation of copper-resistant bacteria from copper tailings wastealand was investigated, which was screened from solid mediums containing a certain concentration Cu2+. The results showed that the highest tolerance concentration of heavy metal Cu2+ for this strain was 390 mg?L-1. Strain characteristics of the results showed that the optimum growing temperature was around 30℃, and the optimum growing pH value was neutral, but osmotic tolerance of this srtain was not very strong. In addition to Cu2+, this strains also showed a strong resistance on the heavy metal Zn2+ and Pb2+.
