Abstract: Compost microorganism can accomplish the reclamation, harmlessness and reduction of solid wastes, and becomes a current research focus. Molecular biotechnology provides the new way to research compost microorganism. The advances in molecular biology of compost microorganism were reviewed, and then the directions of the future research were briefly stated.
