Abstract:

The optimal conditions of assaying the pollen germination in Pistacia chinensis Bunge were deteminged by orthogonal matrix method. The concentration of sucrose and boric acid in culture medium, cultivated temperature, and cultivated time were optimized. The results showed that the most significant factor was the concentration of sucrose, the more significant factors were concentration of boric acid and cultivated time. 25℃, 6 h, 1% agar, 15% sucrose, 0.06% boric acid were the optimal conditions for pollen germination, in which pollen germination rate was 90%.
