Time Series Construction of MODIS-NDVI on Dry-Land in Liaoning Province

Abstract:

Abstract: Along with EOS satellite lift-off, what the people most pay attention is whether the NDVI product of NOAA to continue as well as whether to use the high resolution the product to substitute, therefore the author used MODIS-NDVI and the AVHRR-NDVI material during 4 years in late May to late September from 2005 to 2008, through to the NDVI succession's pretreatment, and adopted the district appraisal and studied the two's fitting relations. According to the AVHRR-NDVI material, restructured MODIS-NDVI the long time series from 1999 to 2009. The results indicated: MODIS-NDVI and AVHRR-NDVI has the extremely remarkable linear relationship, the correlation coefficient is 0.675-0.906 (n=52), Liaoxi is highest, Liaobei, Liaozhong area are next, Liaonan is slightly low. Through the examination, this fitting equation rate of accuracy besides the Liaozhong area average rate of accuracy 75%, other local fitting equation's rate of accuracy surpasses 80%, the fitting effect is ideal. Through the long time series vegetation index's change characteristic, reflected the vegetation to the climate warming response and to inquire about that between the vegetation and the climate relations provided have depended on according.
