Abstract:

In this paper, we used the recombinant inbred lines (RILs) drived from the crosses by the rice cultivar Laymen (weak allelopathy) with Dollar (strong allelopathy) as genetic material. Allelopathic effect of RIL population and their parents were detected by relay-seeding co-culture in agar(RCA). The results indicated that root-length inhibitory effects of Barnyardgrass by the RIL population was close to normal distribution, and used as allelopathic index was for genetic analysis. With the aid of the molecule marker technology, we got the genetic map of the lines, covering with all the chromosomes and having ninety-seven molecule markers. Five QTLs associated with allelopathy against the target weed were detected and located in 1, 1, 5, 9, 9 linkage groups, and explained 23.97%, 15.21%, 13.89%, 18.63%, 6.64% of genetic variation respectively. Further confirmed the existence of rice allelopathy main effect QTL ,also provide the basis for the molecular breeding.
