Abstract:
Through the application of GIS and GPS technology, spatial analysis of climatic factors and elements and the relation between the factors were studied. This study also simulated extrapolated the digital map about the Pu’er fundamental climatic elements distribution, and compare Pu’er climatic elements with the central areas in Yunnan. The results showed that multiple climatic factors change had better coherence and coordination, July and August’s climate conditions play a leading role on tobacco cultivation and tobacco quality; From March to early May, Pu’er areas had higher temperatures, equal or slightly less sunshine duration, compared with central area in Yunnan; From June to August sunshine hours of Pu’er tobacco area was significantly lower than central areas of Yunnan, rainfall was significantly more than central areas in Yunnan. The temperature were suitable during the time Pu’er flue-cured tobacco growth, seedling stage and datian light was quite rainy climate of the main advantages of flue-cured tobacco, from June to August rain, sunshine were low. So Pu’er city was obviously suitable for tobacco production.
