Abstract:

‘Luliangyou 996’ was used as material to study the effects of nitrogen fertilizer planning modes (6:2:1:1 and 4:2:3:1) on yield formation and nitrogen utilization efficiency of super early rice. The main results showed that effects of nitrogen fertilizer planning modes on yield and source and sink characteristics were sigificant. Compared to 6:2:1:1 treatment, ear-differentiation duration and grain number per panicle were increased slightly, and ear-bearing tiller rate, effective panicles, leaf area and yield were improved significantly, while output percent of stem and sheath store matter was decreased significantly in 4:2:3:1 treatment. Nitrogen utilization efficiency of super early rice was affected significantly by nitrogen fertilizer planning mode. Compared to 6:2:1:1 treatment, nitrogen accumulation, nitrogen use efficiency, nitrogen uptake efficiency and nitrogen fertilizer efficiency were improved significantly in 4:2:3:1 treatment. These results showed that appropriate increase of ear-fertilizer was advantageous to improve source-sink relationship and heighten yield, nitrogen use efficiency and nitrogen utilization efficiency of super early rice.
