【OBJECTIVE】The paper discuss the photosynthesis effect of shading light on different growth potato phase, including the change and relationship of net photosynthesis(Pn), transpiration(Tr), stomatal conductance(Gs), internal CO2(CO2), temperature of leaf(Tleaf), chlorophyll content; The contribution of photosynthesis to the upper level position leaf, middle level position leaf, lower level position leaf. 【METHOD】The experiment of shading potato adopt two ways. Nine treatments is made up of two levels and four terms, additional one CK. 【RESULTS】During the potato bulging phase, the rate of 40%, 65%light permeation conduce to depress internal CO2, transpiration is lower than CK too. On the contrary, photosynthesis(Pn), stomatal conductance(Gs), seeding amount of potato, commodity rate potato, chlorophyll content boosted. Shading potato in seedling phase hasn’t much effect, it just delays the time of procreation. Shading potato hasn’t obvious effect when the starch accumulates. The rate of 65% light permeation decrease production. The rate of 40% light permeation decrease production obviously. Shading potato causes stem becoming slim, while stem is stronger enough under natural condition.【CONCLUSION】Production of potato benefit from shading potato during the potato bulging phase.

The experiments of potato cultivated with straw covering and no-tillage under different managements of density and fertilizer dosage were carried out in 2004–2005. The results showed that the fresh potato yield of different managements was different significantly. F1D4 with 375 kg compound fertilizer and 90000 plants per ha was the highest yield in these treatments. The potato yield was increased when planting density of potato was increased, the amount of big potato was increased when the potato planting density was decreased, the weight of average single potato was increased, the commodity characteristic of potato was better. We proposed that most low density of the potato with straw covering and no-tillage cultivation was more than 60,000 plants /hm2, the planting density was lower in fertility soil and was higher in poor soil.

The progresses of research on potato mop top virus (PMTV) were reviewed in this paper. The distribution and transmission, molecular characteristic, symptoms, pathogenic mechanism of PMTV and its detection methods were briefly introduced. The virus occurred in potatoes grown in high-latitude or high-altitude regions with cooler climates and was transmitted by seeds and Spongospora subterranea, the causal agent of potato powdery scab disease .and could cause potato spraing, a serious tuber disease whose symptoms include necrotic arcs and lines in infected tubers. The particularity of PMTV and the difficulty to prevention of this virus were analyzed. The further researches should be focus on the interaction of powdery scab fungus, potato plants and PMTV, and on mining the resistance genes and carrying out potato breeding for the resistance to PMTV, and on the establishment of a rapid and accurate PMTV detection method, and on strategy for control and management of both powdery scab and PMTV.

A pair of specific primer had been designed according to full length sequence of Potato leafroll virus coat protein gene (PLRV-CP) in the GenBank. Potato leafroll virus coat protein gene (PLRV-CP) had been cloned with the RNA of Potato leafroll virus as moplate, and plant expression vector had been constructed. PLRV-CP gene had been transformed to protoplate of the potato variety Daxiyang by the method of PLO (Poly-L-Ornithine) and transgenic plants. About 610bp interest DNA fragment had been amplification in 5 transgenic plants. This showed that exogenous PLRV-CP had been integrated to the genomy of potato. And the result of the Southern blot proved the correct of the PCR and the result of the RT-PCR further demonsticated that: there are positive expression in the 3 progenies of transgenic plants. And the potato leafroll virus inoculation experiment show that transgenic plants Resistant to the potato leafroll compared with control plants.

    Chinese Agricultural Science Bulletin    2007, 23 (8): 58-58.   DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.1000-6850.070858
    Abstract + (1688)       PDF (214789KB) (649)
The AFLP was used to study the genetic diversity of 19 potato cultivars. The result showed that 495 AFLP bands were amplified using 7 primer combinations, among them 302 bands were polymorphic, and 54~90 bands were amplified in each lane. AFLP analysis indicated the genetic distance of 19 potato cultivars was between 0.2091~0.7679, average value was 0.4811. When all of the polymorphic bands were analyzed by cluster analysis, 19 cultivars were classified into 4 groups. The numbere two groups included 14 potato cultivars, which accounted for 73.68%. The analysics showed that there existed close sibship among the majority of potato cultivars, and the genetic distance between the minority cultivars and the others is longer, which indicate that the genetic basis of KeXin series potato cultivars is wide. In addition, this study demonstrates that AFLP finger printing has higher resolution and the AFLP is more suitable in the diversity study of potato cultivars.

Carbon based fertilizer was a mixture of biochar and chemical fertilizer, it could ameliorate the construct of soil, and preserve soil water and fertilizer. In order to get some theoretical foundation for reasonable application of carbon based fertilizer in the production of potato of Wuchuan areas in Inner Mongolia, random block design was adopted to study the effects of the carbon based fertilizer on the yield, quality and efficiency of‘Kexin1’by applying 0, 300, 600, 900 and 1200 kg/hm2 of this fertilizer and the same amount of N, P, K fertilizer. The results showed that: with the increment of carbon based fertilizer, the yield of potato of the carbon based fertilizer increased by 26.01%, 34.77%, 43.39% and 49.71% than that of CK, and the differences were significant or extremely significant. The number of tuber per plant, the weight of a tuber and the rate of big tubers of the 1200 kg/hm2 treatment were much higher than CK. The amylose content of the eight treatments was significantly higher than CK. The amylopectin content, total starch content and protein content of the eight treatments of were higher than that of CK, but the differences did not reach significant level. The application of the carbon based fertilizer could decrease the level of reducing sugar content, and the level of the 600, 900, 1200 kg/hm2 treatments were significantly lower than that of CK. The results showed that: the number of tuber per plant, the weight of single tuber, the rate of big tubers, yield, amylose content, amylopectin content, total starch content, protein content and efficiency of the treatments with carbon based fertilizer were higher, and the content of reducing sugar was lower than that of treatments with chemical fertilizer of the same amount of N, P, K. The yield, quality and efficiency of potato of 1200 kg/hm2 treatment were higher, and it was the suitable match for local plant.
Effects of Combined Application of Different Nitrogen Source and Magnesium Fertilizer on Yield, Quality and Nutrient Uptake of Potato
    null
    Journal of Agriculture    2012, 2 (6): 49-53.   DOI: 10.11924/j.issn.2095-4050.2012-xb0052
    Abstract + (1624)       PDF (988KB) (1654)

In order to provide theoretical basis to potato high yield and high quality cultural techniques, an experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of combined application of different nitrogen source and magnesium fertilizer on yield and quality of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) tubers under field experimental conditions. The experiment design was the randomized complete block with three replications. Three nitrogen source (sole nitrate, sole ammonium, nitrate and ammonium mixed) and three rates of magnesium fertilizer (0, 75, 300 kg/hm2) were employed. The results showed that the different nitrogen forms had not significant influence on the yield of potato tubers, whereas the combined application of different nitrogen source and magnesium fertilizer had significant effects on the yield of potato tubers. Moreover, both sole nitrate (NO3-) supply, and mixed supply of nitrate and ammonium (NH4+) supply with Mg application can enhance the ratio of large and medium tubers of potato. The contents of total starch and crude protein in tubers of potato were not influenced by the combined application of different nitrogen source and magnesium fertilizer. Sole nitrate supply, or mixed supply of 50% nitrate and 50% ammonium, with 75 kg/hm2 magnesium application had a significant effect on the content of vitamin C in the fresh tubers of potato. The combined application of different nitrogen source and magnesium fertilizer had a significant impact on nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium and magnesium uptake by potatoes tubers. The different nitrogen source had not significant effect on the uptake of nitrogen, phosphate, potassium and magnesium of potato tubers. Except for potassium uptake, the uptake of nitrogen, phosphate and magnesium in potato tubers was increased with the rate of magnesium application increase. This study indicates that mixed supply of 50% nitrate and 50% ammonium with appropriate magnesium fertilizer can increase potato tubers yield and nutrient uptake, improve quality and raise commodity rate of potato.
