室内条件下莲草直胸跳甲相遇行为和交配行为的研究

Studies on Encountering Behavior and Mating Behavior of the Flea Beetle,
Agasicles hygrophila in the Laboratory Conditions

摘要: 为了解不同性别比例条件下莲草直胸跳甲的行为反应,明确莲草直胸跳甲成虫的相遇及交配行为机制,采用人工室内饲养观察和动物行为习性观察分析系统自动记录分析相结合的方法,对1雌1雄、1雌1雌、1雄1雄3种性比条件下,莲草直胸跳甲成虫的相遇和交配行为进行观察和分析。结果表明,莲草直胸跳甲成虫分别在雌雌和雄雄条件下的相遇行为主要表现为避让、打斗2种方式,且相互避让的频率明显高于打斗的频率;雌雄成虫相遇行为主要以避让为主,雌雄成虫多次相遇后可能发生交配,但交配的频率相对较少。莲草直胸跳甲成虫交配的昼夜节律明显,初羽化成虫在第1、2天未见交配行为,从第3天开始出现交配;在一个昼夜时间内,上午0:00—10:00时段成虫交配的频次段较低,下午13:00—15:00时段内成虫交配的频次最高。说明莲草直胸跳甲雌雄成虫的保存以雌雄个体同时存在为宜,并可减少个体间的打斗行为;室内成虫的配对产卵可以选择初羽化后3天内进行,以下午13:00—15:00时段为宜。

Abstract: In order to understand the behavior response of the flea beetle, Agasicles hygrophila, under different sex ratios, and to clarify the mechanism of adults encountering and mating behavior response, the observation and analysis of adults behavior under three sex ratio conditions, which were one female and one male, one female and one female, one male and one male, were carried out by laboratory observation in combination with automatic record and analysis through animal behavior observing analysis system (CASO-L Behavior Analysis) within a 9 cm arena. The results showed that the encountering behavior was composed of avoidance and fight between two female adults or two male adults, and avoidance was highly significant than fight. In the process of a couple of flea beetles encountering, the frequency of copulation was relatively small while the avoidance was the major behavior, and they might mate after several meetings. A. hygrophila had a distinct mating circadian rhythm. Newly emerged adults do not mate at the first to the second day, and began to mate at the third day. The probability of mating activity was low between 00:00 and 10:00, and the distinct mating peaks occurred at 13:00-15:00. Overall, A. hygrophila adult male and female individuals existing at the same time is appropriate to the preservation, and could reduce the fighting behavior between individuals. Indoor adult paired spawning could be selected within 3 days after the emergence, and 13:00-15:00 was the appropriate time frame.
