Abstract: The objective is to guide the production cultivation of Elaeocarpus sylvestris (Lour.) Poir., and provide the basic data for its landscaping and comprehensive development and utilization. The contents of K, Ca, Na, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Cr, Ni were measured by the method of flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) in 15 parts of Elaeocarpus sylvestris (Lour.) Poir.. The results showed that 10 elements existed in all the organs of Elaeocarpus sylvestris (Lour.) Poir.. The order of the average content was: K>Ca>Mg>Na>Fe> Mn>Zn>Ni>Cr>Cu. The contents of the same element were different among 15 parts of Elaeocarpus sylvestris (Lour.) Poir.. The average contents of Ca, Mg, Mn and Zn in 15 parts of the Elaeocarpus sylvestris (Lour.) Poir. belonged to the normal content levels of the elements in normal plants. The contents of Fe, Cr and Ni in 15 parts of Elaeocarpus sylvestris (Lour.) Poir. were relatively higher than those in normal plants, but the contents of the K, Na and Cu were relatively lower than those in normal plants.
