Abstract:

Wheat-cotton double cropping pattern exists on the major cotton producing regions, the Yellow River-Huai River-Hai River Plain and the middle and down reaches of Yangtze River in China. This view introduced its current significance, the plant history, basic pattern model, main techniques and theory research. And it was pointed out that there were two obvious issues about the pattern to solve, that one was the lower planting comparative benefit and the other was the various field manage. Consequently, it urgently needed the innovative and boosting technology to make the continuous development, such as simpler management, saving-cost planting, less-manpower and more mechanized work.
