Directed Improvement of Rice Blast Resistance of Sterile Line Q211S with Molecular Marker-Assisted Selection

摘要: 为提高温敏型核不育系‘Q211S’的稻瘟病抗性,以‘Q211S’为受体材料,以携带Pi9基因的抗稻瘟病材料‘75-1-127’为供体,通过常规育种方法和分子标记辅助选择技术相结合,选育出5个抗病性改良的两系不育系。抗性鉴定及田间试验结果表明:5个抗病改良两系不育系对苗瘟、穗瘟均表现较高抗性,其他特征特性与‘Q211S’相近。5个改良不育系与‘Q211S’所配组合在株高、每穗总粒数、结实率、千粒重上差异不显著,改良不育系所配组合较‘Q211S’所配组合稻瘟病抗性明显增强。

Abstract: To improve the rice blast resistance of thermo- sensitive genic male sterile line‘Q211S’, the thermo-sensitive genic male sterile line‘Q211S’was used as the receptor parent and the‘75-1-127’with excellent rice blast resistance, carrying genePi9 , was used as donor parent, five improved two-line male sterile lines with rice blast resistance were bred by using conventional breeding and molecular marker- assisted selection. Resistance identification and field trials demonstrated that the five improved two-line male sterile lines performed higher resistance to rice leaf blast and panicle neck blast, the other agronomic characters were almost identical to that of‘Q211S’. Furthermore, the new hybrid rice combinations which the five improved two-line male sterile line rice were used as female parents had no significant differences in plant height, spikelet number per panicle, setting rate and 1000- grain weight compared with that of‘Q211S’used as female parent, whereas the rice blast resistances of the new hybrid rice combinations which the five improved two-line male sterile line rice were used as female parents, were obviously enhanced
