Abstract: The data of meteorological factors and smoking quality of flue-cured tobacco of twenty tobacco-planting areas were collected and the effect of these factors on the smoking quality was analyzed. On the base of comparing the difference of meteorological factors, the twenty tobacco-planting areas were divided into three climate-ecology divisions by cluster analysis. The suitable climate-ecology division was selected by assessing the difference significance of the smoking quality indexes of different climate-ecology divisions. The result of analyzing the correlation of meteorological factors and the smoking quality indexes showed that the main factor which has influence on the smoking quality is temperature including ground temperature in 10cm depth and air temperature, and the relative humidity has indirect negative effect on the smoking quality by working on the ground temperature in 10cm depth.
