Abstract: The article introduced the origin and history of foreign interior plants，the form of pot plants was a historical turn. The appearance of conservatory provided a condition for plants to come into indoor space. The Hot House as well as Orangery was a form of original conservatory. During the course of the interior plants coming into being，plant collectors made a great contribution，in which the most famous family name was Joseph and Veitch. Which made us a surprise of that, plants coming from different climate-zone can live in interior places and there were a lot of plant species. The plant species will be more and more with improving of indoor conditions.
