Abstract: Two methods were applied to research the superovulation of Rabbits. The results showed that the average number of the ovulation points on the ovaries of the rabbits using PMSG-HCG method was extremely different (P<0.01) from those of PMSG method, and the average number of the cystic follicles and follicles of PMSG-HCG method was significant difference (P<0.05) from that of PMSG method. The average number of the developed follicles of the two methods was not significant difference (P>0.05). The superovulated effect of PMSG-HCG method was significantly better than that of PMSG method. The results also showed that most of the gained embryos were in 2-cell stage during 28 hours after the rabbits accepted mating, and in 4-cell stage during 32 hours after the rabbits accepted mating. PMSG-HCG method didn’t influence upon the development of the rabbits’ embryos when it was applied to study on their superovulation effect.
