Abstract: 137 soil samples of paddy soil which include 92 soil samples of reverse-season vegetable planting-land and 45 soil samples of other cropland were sampled after investigated tilth fertility and fertilization status of Qionghai city in 2004. The influences of nutrients in the soil and fertilization were researched, and four countermeasures were suggested ad: ① organic fertilizer should be used, and tilth fertility should be cultivated, so the high quality and high yield of produce can be realized. ② the fertilizer of N, P, K should be balanceablely applied. ③ the mid-element and microelement should be balanceablely fertilized. ④ the quality of fertilizer should be supervised so that farmers can fertilized eligible fertilizer
