Abstract: Hevea brasiliensis is an important tropical cash crops.PR107 and Haiken 1 are two important species of Chineses rubber tree planting and breeding.The chromosome number and karyotype of PR107 and Haiken 1 were studied by applying fingertip pressing method. The results indicated that the number of the somatic chromosome of PR107 was 64，and its karyotype formula was 2n=36=30m(2sat)＋6sm. As to Haiken 1，the karyotype type formula was 2n=36=22m(2sat)＋14sm(2sat)， the　karyotype of PR107 and Haiken 1 were 2B.
