Abstract: Abstract: The configuration of canopy,and the diatribution of yield and the difference of fruit quality of three main tree forms in pear in Hubei was studied. The results showed that the index of leaves area,and the overcast rate of canopy,and the rate between leaves and fruits and the yield of center-opening canopy, two-layer tree shape and three-layer tree shape in pear was different. The fruitage was distributed mainly from 1.0 m to 2.0 m height of the canopy in uprightness. The per fruit mass ,the contents of solubke solid and the firmness in the canopy gradually descended from upper to lower,whereas the contents of titrable acidity increased.The fruit quality of center-opening canopy was better than two-layer tree shape and three-layer tree shape.
