Abstract:

With the progress of economic and social development, financial security for the elderly of urban "Empty Nest" is not an issue. But the elderly of rural "empty nest" is facing more uncertainty in economic support, life care, comfort and other aspects. So the rural elderly may have more serious problems result from "Empty Nest". The article analyzed actual data from old-age security system gap between urban and rural areas, Further studied of the rural "Empty-nest Family" pension problem characteristics and the reasons. And proposed to promote rural economic development and building a new rural pension system, improve migrant workers protection measures etc, and with a view that it would be helpful to the solution of the rural "Empty-nest Family" pension security.
