Abstract:

For the soil-plant-environment continuum systems inside greenhouse, researches always focused on water loss and absorb and crop water use efficiency. Irrigation was the only water source for greenhouse crops. This paper started from the new technologies and methods of water-saving irrigation of recent years-drip irrigation and regulated deficit irrigation, and summarized the research of regulated deficit irrigation of greenhouse. It composed the production mechanism, the adaptive irrigation index of regulated deficit irrigation, the environmental factors work on regulated deficit irrigation, especially, the crop’s reflection to the water deficit during the different growth period.
