Abstract:

The leaves of ‘Jimai 22’, a winter wheat variety, were sprayed by ‘Tianda 2116’ under 2℃ to study the effects on its physiological property to resist chilling injury. Whinter wheat were cultivated until 13 days and then suffered from 2℃ chilling injury in growth cabinet. The leaves of ‘Jimai 22’ were separately sprayed by ‘Tianda 2116’ before and after the chilling injury. Five physiological and biochemical indicators (chlorophyll contents, SOD activity, MDA contents, soluble protein contents and soluble sugar contents) were respectively detected with UV-Vis, NBT method, TBA method, Bradford method and anthrone colorimetric method in different groups. The results showed that, the effects of chlorophyll contents and SOD activity in chilling injuried whinter wheat leaves by ‘Tianda 2116’ were significant; MDA contents and soluble sugar contents increased after chilling injury, but the two indicatores descent obviously by ‘Tianda 2116’. Whit the extention of chilling injury time, both MDA contents and soluble sugar contents decreased first and then increased. The chilling injury had littile influence on soluble protein contents. Winter wheat leaves were protected from chilling injury by ‘Tianda 2116’ positively and the ability of resistance to chilling injury was improved obviously.
